Although this all went down 45 years ago, it's still timeless and such a toxic relationship can happen today - it was Sid & Nancy in the 70s. Kurt & Courtney in the 90s, and since I stopped following contemporary pop culture after the first wave of "grunge alternative" faded out, I don't know who's with who these days, but I digress. Sid and Nancy the people and "Sid & Nancy" the movie are to learn from and help put peoples' current lives in perspective. As it is, mine is hardly perfect, yet I'm a lot more at peace, especially these days. I could be as erratic as they were, problematic, and...let's just leave it at that, but it's not the case today. I'm happy and grateful I had the chance to get older and learn a few things along the way. It would have been good if Sid and Nancy (the people) could have experienced the same.

100% about the shop aswell it originally sold RnR/Rockabilly clothes under the name of Let it Rock/ then changed its name to SEX & sold Rubber wear * bondage stuff the Pistols were already going before tbey met Malcolm(under different name no Lydon etc) but did do one gig they asked Malcolm to manage them but they had to get rid of Wally Nightingale on guitar they audionted a few people before they chose Lydon Then the shop changed names again to Seditionaries( i went there)
