thanks Brandman for having Clinton Sparks on here! many gems in this episode, especially the skill of listening and paying attention to others and seeing the answers are there, and I also relate to Clinton in understanding and growing up in various different cultures. Definitely getting familiar with Clinton and will check out his free book, this is helping me currently as a music artist - with gratitude, LaynoProd

I'm grateful that as young as i am, i seem to be on the right path with the way I carry myself currently. I haven't released music in over a year, and i struggle with social media & "branding" because everybody wants me to be what they want me to be but half the time, it's inauthentic to me and i don't think i should live up to something i don't see myself as at the core of my being

What made you connect to Cudi in such way?
@Des_Armoni Жыл бұрын
@@AllayEarhart man so much stuff. He was different he was honest he had melodies out of this world. He was a breath of fresh air for me because everybody else was gangster and he was way more relatable. His production was crazy the way he dressed was unique. He was attached to all these other eclectic people like santigold and mia and diplo and a trak. Chip the rip. KANYE! Like man cudi was that dude to me. I had all his mixtapes all his unreleased leaks it was a crazy time. Mind u i was like 15-16 when I discovered him so he was like a voice for me. And he was COOL! He wasn’t corny he was authentic.

It's alot easier to say these things when you've made it to the next level 💯 you still have to drop music on Spotify or whatever platform you want, & your music still has to be good in my opinion then in my mind they will care about who you are want to know if you have a brand set up but as a artist with no help to me it all starts with making sure your music is good then you move on to what this brother saying

Nah! Dancehall reggae DJs invented that style of playing records. Check the history of Massive B sound from Hot 97FM in NYC. And that came out of Sound System culture, like Stone Love from Jamaica.
