i feel drew. What Jake said in the recording was technically all true, he individually helped each of the music club members and got nothing in return? When Drew and Jake where arguing you can literally see how upset drew he was. All he wanted was Jake back and hanging out with him, not him leaving their friend group and going with some people he hates. Jake should’ve made it clearer for them that he didn’t want to hang out around with them instead of just keep them dangling on a thread. Drew also must have a reason to bully the club bc you don’t see him bully anyone else. I hope s2 can really explain about Drew’s background and perspective since he is one of my favourite characters!

I’ve been watching TMF since the beginning and I just have to say… 1. The character development in The Music Freaks is UNMATCHED. 2. The animations and voice acting really bring this series to life and it is MAGICAL. 3. Drew actually cared about Jake and seriously thought the music club was manipulating him. Jake's fear of being judged is very effective in this mess. If they had been able to establish a healthier communication, these problems would not have occurred. Of course, Drew's toxicity is at a problematic level, but I still think he sincerely cares about Jake. Also, I think he was there during the concert.

While he definitely cares about Jake, he has a problem that a lotta toxic friends and family do: He refuses to love him in ways that make him feel loved He thinks that he’s doing perfectly fine the way he is and anyone who can’t accept the kind of love _he_ wants to show is toxic and/or just using him. Which is why instead of just leaving, he says that thing about how Jake was “just manipulating him this whole time” His care for Jake is starting to make him see flaws in the way he treats people, but as all people like him usually are, it’s gonna take more than one person leaving him behind to make him see that he might be wrong

23:04 - 25:40 This part hit harder than someone gouging out my stomach with a hand axe. (Prepare for a long character analysis) Jake is basically saying that he wants the music club to forgive him, but deep down, he knows for a fact they won't. Before he walks away, he just says to remember him for being their friend before he shuts the book for the final time. "Fight for me" is basically "Don't forget me" in this context. And Hailey does what he asked her to do. She remembered every single interaction with him, good and bad, and understands that he wasn't the bad guy. She knows that singing was his passion, and that he genuinely meant all those words in his speech. And she knows that he had only bullied her and said those words in that recording to fit in, and that he never genuinely meant them. She had been bulied one. Jake had been bulied once. But Jake was given a bail out, and had just hung out with the wrong people. Hailey understood his true intentions, and ran after him, completely forgiving him. Everyone else had as well. God damn RoseClozy is smart.

Can we take a second to appreciate how much Rosy has improved over the years!? Like she was amazing in the first episode, but look at how intricate and detailed everything is! The facial expressions convey so much more and I feel like I know the characters so much better! Not only animation wise, but the script is just BEAUTIFUL and song choices just top it off! i remember being there for the premiere of the very first episode and although i’m 2 and a half years out of my gacha phase now, i still come back to check on this series and how much it’s grown. now the finale is over it’ll feel really strange not having tmf around, but i’m glad you can finally take a break after making such a wonderful series, rosy!! this is so well done and i’m so glad you, the voice actors and everyone who worked on this project could make it what it was

I’ve been following this series since it first came out, and WOW. Your dedication, craftsmanship, and storytelling is CRAZY. This is such an impressive project! You've done so much for our community by making this, this series inspired so many aspiring and current voice actors, animators, story writers and gacha content creators. Before TMF, I never thought that the gacha community could make voice acted animated series, much less musicals but you've proven that wrong. The first few episodes were so nostalgic for me and the improvement in the quality shows. It's been an incredible journey watching this series evolve into what it is now. I was 11 when this show started. Now I'm 14 and I still came back to see the finale. Honestly, this was amazing - the animation, the songs, the voice acting - everything was perfect. I'm so glad to have been along for the whole ride and that it's still not over yet (you had me for a second thinking this was the end). All I ask is Rosy and the rest of the team takes a break before starting work on season 2 since they deserve it after producing such an incredible first one. Out of all the Gacha series I've watched over the years, this one has been the best I've ever seen! The amount of work that has been put into every episode by Rosy, all the VAs and everyone involved really shows up to this very episode! The music, the drama, the plot twists... it has all been amazing! And to see that their will be a Season 2 of The Music Freaks has me even more hyped for this series! Had to rewatch the entire series again before I watched the finale to celebrate a wonderful show. When I watched episode 1 I wasn't expecting how glorious this series was going to be.
