Play this 2x speed and you can hear the police "message in a bottle" riff or at least the first half of it, the band were listening to a lot of the police around that time so just shows you the power of subconscious influence cause no way was that deliberate ... Incredible guitar work, incredible song

Could have swore I read an article where it said this song is the act of making love in a song. Foreplay, chorus clothes get ripped off, near the end is intense and a rush like an orgasm and it trails off as you fall asleep. This band never got their just recognition

i remember an interview from around 2002, rob the singer/writer of the lyrics said he and his girlfriend would switch the lights off and cry their eyes out over stuff that bothered them in the world etc , he didnt direcly say this song was about that but it was implied ..i dont he was that pretentious to claim it was what you read
