After the death of prophet muhammad, in 80 years islam spreaded and muslim caliphates ruled whole middle east,whole persia till siindh in pakistan,whole northern africa and whole iberian peninsula. In next 800 years, whole eastern europe,whole central asia,whole india, parts of russia and china were ruled by muslim rulers and caliphates. Also indonesia,malasiya also became muslims. As per my knowledge and understanding, in 16th and 17th century muslims were the super powers of the world. Safavids ruled persia, Ottomans ruled eastern europe,whole middle east and northern africa Whole india was ruled by muslims Central asia and parts of china and russia were ruled by local muslim rulers.
