Till the moment, people of any faith feel they need to be governed by separate laws and their religious beliefs should be enforced on people of other faith, religious parties like BJP find their purpose in the society and nothing wrong about it, as for every action there will be an equal opposite reaction. I think lack of education for decades coupled with poverty is the key to the Muslim community being denied opportunities and lacking motivation to make a healthy contribution in the growth of the country. Not everyone needs to have a PhD but it would be nice to see more Muslims making a concerted effort towards worldly pursuits as much as the spiritual one. India desperately needs quality over quantity from all Indians whereas it’s become fashionable among some in the majority to deride and mock the weaker sections for lagging behind while those sections have resorted to licking wounds and self pity to cope with their losses. Then there are others aloof and well off who have little but no option to silently witness the erosion of secular values in all Indians.
