When I saw the WIP. The only reason I wasn't floored was because (in hindsight.) I subconsciously didn't believe it was this good. An order of magnitude better animation on top of a great show. Truly a generational advance. Now this. I can wait 40 yrs for the rest in one package if you keep it up, (and send us all reminders) God bless you!!!!

There's certainly a lot of stylized aspects of the original animation that don't work as well in 3D, but the recreation work itself is excellent If you ever want to recreate the lancer speeders scene, I have a 3d model of the clone lancer bike I made a few years ago

i think the stylized aspect is the best part about it. it looks like the clone wars did, a bad looking animated version of star wars. the clone wars itself is SUPER stylized. no other show looks like it. and if you look at the side by side comparisons people have made. it looks spot on. yes there are some things like fire and little details that could benefit from a little more work, but she captured the almost unfished look they were going for of the 2d version pretty well.

what i find really funny about the old clone wars (2003) and the new clone wars (2008-2020) is that in the 2003 series whenever a clone ship crashes 90n percent or all clones survive with a few injured but in the 2008 series all clones die unless they are lucky to have plot armor or have one of the main characters in there with them and even then half of them die

the gunship was accurate actually. They don’t get the one with the cool blue paint job and the teeth and eyes on the front till they go to Hypori to rescue the Jedi in season 2

I just didn’t pay attention I was convinced that they had the arc gunship already (it’s the one my brain retains from the cartoon because of its uniqueness). I’m huge fan of both laat/I. I miss the arc one that didn’t see much action after the 2003 cartoon

My only complaint is that the arcs don’t use DC-15a’s they use the Westsr M5 with undebarrel launcher. Though I guess they don’t have the model for it readily available still amazing job

This was so great but I can’t get enough could you finish the rest of the episode and even the rest of this all the way to the fight with Durge Edit nothing will ever replace the original Tartakovsky version but I do want to see the rest of the Null ARC Troopers scenes in this style, such as the arrival of Grievous, the speeder bike Lance assault, and the takedown of Durge
