The Myddle Class hailed from New Jersey, originally called The King Bees. Five eighteen-year-olds: Dave Palmer lead singer, Rick Philp guitar, Danny Mansolino organ, Charles Larkey bass and Myke Rosa on drums.
garagehangover.com notes that their first and most well-known record, "Don't Let Me Sleep Too Long", was a #2 hit on WPTR in Albany during the summer of '66.
I came across this 45 in mid-1967 at a small underground-music record shop in Greenwich Village, where I used to hang out to catch the latest sounds. I had already bought their first release, "Don't Let Me Sleep Too Long", here at the same shop, in late 1966.
