Welcome back to yet ANOTHER Tomb Raider game!
We're now playing "Anniversary" - and yes, I know, Legend was released before this. BUT I heard that chronologically, this comes first, so I decided to start with this. Hope you'll enjoy my first playthrough of this game!

Lara's Legend outfit was designed by Toby Gard, creator of Lara Croft. He returned to the series for this trilogy (he left after TR1 back in 1996) to help with her character design and story.

anniversarys croft manor has to be the best one in the games because it actually feels like a full side-level with things to do and to explore. its not just to learn laras movement and find one secret room where you cant do anything and then move on. also that manor theme is so calming. in regards to her outfits, i think the classic one is just the most recognizable. i do like that they brought in some diversity and had fun with the anniversary outfits like "golden lara" or even the "doppelgänger", but i think my favorites are camouflage, catsuit and croft manor sport lara. the legend outfit otoh is just so... bland. id say less is more, but i prefer lara wearing more clothes like the full snow camo she wore in tr2 golden mask lol.

I can’t wait for legend! It’s one of my favorites even though it’s pretty old at this point and it’s definitely a short one. It shouldn’t take you too long.

Fun fact with the original ps1 game discs you could put them in a cd player and they would play the soundtracks!

Very cool that you played the Manor, too! I love all these books with history and other infos. There's also one mentioning the Maria Doria cruiseship from the second old game.

This was a great part of the Legend trilogy. It was so weird how Anniversary popped out of nowhere but then they connected Anniversary with Underworld and the story got a little crazy. I hope you stick to them. Have you played the remastered trilogy yet?

Without rushing, I usually finish Legend in about 3 hours, it is a really short game if you just go from A to B

given that you know what to do I guess. And by saying "usually" it sounds like you played it multiple times and have a habit of replaying it. I played for 4h today and got halfway through Kazachstan.

@@LIZZgame Legend has a similar main appeal as the Resident Evil 3 Remake: It's extremely short, but you get tons of unlockables (outfits, cheat codes, concept arts, ...) by collecting relics, playing on higher difficulties, and beating speedrun records in all 8 levels. So most people who played Legend naturally played it multiple times and know the fastest paths through all levels by heart. It also used to be big in the speedrunning community, very different from the rest of the series!
