Any church that marries a divorced person* is already an apostate church. That is nearly ALL churches these days, because to get remarried after divorce is to commit adultery. (*NOTE: unless, as Jesus and Paul both said, if the person is the victim of adultery or was abandoned. Those are the only two who "should not be held to account" and can get remarried.)

We followed one particular pastor, but one of the other pastors had been charged with child p*** and se***** a***** of minors. He denied it all, of course, and the church chose not to make him step down while he was sorting things out in court!!! I think it’s crazy how she gets these diagnosis’s after they get married and then he uses them against her around every corner. “I did this for the best of her!” I’m sure you did… my exhusband would claim the same. She’s the crazy one but he slashed her tires, got her admitted to the hospital, took her car, slashed her tires, tracked her car “to know if she went to a gun store”, and the list goes on… he was very abusive, he needs to be in prison. Judging by who his father is and what daddy has said in his defense, I think JP is the “golden child” who’s never wrong. I think this story just highlights that a lot of the "church" doesn't ascribe to Biblical Christianity. No perfect people, no perfect church, however, there is a lot the Bible says about how to conduct church and who should be placed in leadership. Doing our due diligence with who is given a shepherding role. Progressive Christianity, and what I call mystical Christianity is especially susceptible to these difficulties.

Im sure she was struggling with mental health issues. She was groomed as a child and broke up her first marriage to be with this goob but cognitively probably didn't realize he was a pervert and manipulative until she started nearing that age herself. I was groomed by a 27 yr old when I was 17. I thought, oh im just mature and so cool. Around 25-26 I started to realize, wait a minute, there is no amount of maturity that makes a grown adult want to hang out with a child. It is control. That reality probably slowly started closing in on her as she got older and the recognition that she ruined her first marriage and became a mistress, over a man who literally groomed her. The devil easily could have played on the natural shame, regret, and condemnation she would feel over this situation as she matured and their marriage faced their own issues. When you are young and unmarried you believe the lies a married man tells you "oh my wife is angry all the time she doesnt love me" you think they are telling you the truth about how horrible they are, and then reality hits and you realize they were just being cry babies and were likely just done putting up with their abusive husband''s crap and had four kids to take care of. Gosh this makes me so mad.

I am not talking about the behind-closed-doors stuff, but him marrying a girl who was his babysitter after getting divorced, his using his sermons to make personal attacks at his wife and any of her supporters etc. My butt cheeks would have lifted off the wooden pew the minute he talked about snooping through his wife's phone and accusing anyone offering her a shoulder to lean on, and an ear to listen - of being a demon. Talk about isolating your victim. He made sure she had no one and then did the mentally ill smears for the pulpit. I seriously doubt I would have walked out quietly either. This is absolutely despicable. There were so many opportunities that this pastor should have been relieved of his position. The elders should have a way to be held accountable. What I really don't get is how real Christians could go to that church. Apparently at some time they were 700 people, did they ever listen to his terrible sermons? They are mostly about him and often ridiculous and the worship is not about glorifying God at all. He often confessed things like his sex addiction or that he was suicidal, how did anyone think it was okay that he was still a pastor? Even if they were Baby Christians who didn't know better, when he used the platform to gossip about Mica they should have left.

Sadly, I think many today don't want true accountability at church. I watched the interview where the dad and the sister spoke out about the incident, and they pointed out different smaller details about the incident, including creek flow patterns, the actual 911 call, and the marks on her arms, which seem to strongly suggest that someone was there with her. And this was not a suicide.

I watched Micheal Knowles talk about this a couple days after her death. There's audio of a 911 call she made and video of her buying the 🔫 that "she" ended up using. I 100% believe she was coerced into those actions. God rest her soul 🙏 May she recieve justice

My hope is this will bring massive awareness and change to DV resources across the country. They are not working currently and PO's do not protect from people who think they are above the law. If someone were to call LE to report a bear outside their home, you wouldn't give them a piece of paper and think that's enough.These types are not just a danger to their partner, they are a danger to the community. DV calls are at the highest for risk and fatalities of LE, so when people ask why she doesn't leave, that is why. We need to do better. Justice for Mica!

Reason 5,387 that we need to follow the Word of God. He disqualified himself to be pastor after his adultery, but people have a warped sense of grace that goes beyond what Scripture allows. He’s utterly demented.

From all that I've seen I so hope that she truly knew Jesus. That so called ,,worship'' which consists of worldly songs is terrible and she did cheat on her husband with JP, but I also think he might have groomed her. She must have suffered so badly, I hope she's safe in the arms of Jesus now❤

It's funny that he is upset people messaged his wife wanting to talk about their marriage. But it is perfectly fine airing it out in church. Also, him talking about her mental health in front of the entire congregation is horribly wrong of him. It's almost like he is laying groundwork if something happened to her. The sermons where he disparaged her in front of the congregation- that is called laying the ground work. He was preparing to get rid of her back then. This whole situation is a lifetime movie- a network that has made several dramatized movies about real-life stories of abuse. He was preparing his congregation for her absence. And securing people's opinions about him. It gets him sympathy, and it's a tactic predators of women use especially! Another channel provided a great perspective- Officer Tatum about how the police mishandled everything. John Paul Miller needs to be marked and avoided just period! He has a new victim lined up though, make no mistake about that! Men like this have an MO and right now this man has no true fear of God.

Maybe someone already mentioned this. What is questionable is the fact that he was even at church the morning after his wife's death. I would expect another staff member to make the announcement to the congregation of a pastor's wife's death with the husband rushing his way to the place where his wife is. That would be the first red flag to me. Also, his police record would be a reason that any church wouldn't hire him in the first place.

What JP doesn't know is that he is not as handsome as he thinks he is. A man's character means everything. I guarantee the biggest problem in their marriage was his sex addiction.
