I am sure I'll get some comments on this: but I think what Brad misses is it's not about just physical assault in the bathroom (or his assumption of the alleged "unjustifiable" fear of assaults). It's acceptable to say - I am not ok with that and I don't want someone in my personal space. He glosses over the reports of actual incidents that have happened. Like the perverted man in a dress who slipped his phone under a stall and recorded a woman in the stall next to him. Women continuously get told to "just suck it up and get over it" and when we say "no, we are not ok with that" we get called all kinds of horrible names and threats made against us. Why? Society has always had a line of acceptable and unacceptable, but in recent history we've been told to remove the line as it makes us bigots. Sorry, but no. We just don't want men in our private spaces.

1. She sounds like she’s setting up Christian men to fail 2. I assume when people do suddenly get a divorce, if it wasn’t born from violent and toxic abuse, nobody should be given any money after the divorce and both parties pay for their own divorce requirements 3. “Lol all of the wife’s stuff becomes the husbands” pfft haha you’re cute lady 🤣

Allie, So many comments here that address many points I would have shared, but no need for those now. I was a cradle Catholic who left the Church and became an Evangelical Christian at 18. I began Theology classes with a sense that I would become a minister. At 29 I had a crisis of Faith about the Protestant understanding of the gospel and the ethical issues surrounding the doctrine of atonement as understood by the Reformers. I won’t give my entire testimony, but I did return to Catholicism in my thirties. I have a heart for the Church becoming one as Christ prayed to His Father we would be. I know so many Evangelicals with hearts for Christ and the Word of God and I feel as if the Body of Christ is suffering because so many people in Catholic pews don’t have people with that passionate heart for Christ sitting next to them. I still have so many Protestant friends, and went to a retreat with a friend who was probably my best friend in the Evangelical Church I was in for many years, but had moved away to Texas. The retreat was a men’s retreat with about 40 men who all loved God and Jesus and as they confessed their sins to one another, broke bread together after watching the Last Supper scene from The Passion of the Christ and spoke to each other about their longing to feel God’s presence in their lives in more meaningful ways, asking for their brothers to be the body of Christ for them, my heart broke for them. I had been there. And I knew that God had given His Church gifts of grace through Holy Sacraments that answered the deep longings in their hearts. Reconciliation and absolution. That they were cut off from the prayers of the Saints who could be interceding for them in prayer with more love and wisdom for their needs than any of their brothers at that retreat. I prayed to St. Michael, to St. Peter, to St. Paul, and to St. Joseph that they would intercede for these men before the throne of God and let them know that the 2000 year history of the Community of Saints was with them to give them strength. And then there is the Eucharist. I tremble literally as I write this to you. How beautiful you are to God, Allie. How much He loves you. You are your husband’s brides, but Christ’s bride as well, and as your husband said on your wedding night, Christ says to you every day: “This is my Body, given to you, that you may be filled with life!” And as a husband fills his bride with life in her womb, so Christ says, “Unless you eat of the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.” You are still His lovely bride, but you have not yet become One with Him. “Take. Eat.” Christ is truly there. Your heart will be filled and grace pour over you and you too will tremble when you speak of His Presence in the Bread that is the Life of the world. I have prayed and am now praying to Mary Magdalene that she will pray for you to give yourself to Christ as she did, who longed to hold Him in her arms before He had ascended, but was prevented for a time. The early Church celebrated the Eucharist. I imagine Mary hearing the words Christ gave at the Last Supper, knowing He said so many times He was the Bread come down from heaven, and the joy her heart must have known the first time that the bread was broken and shared by the apostles with her. She must’ve cried to be able to hold her Lord again and follow His command to eat and to drink and be blessed with His Body and Blood that she had witnessed crucified broken again out of love for her. May Mary’s prayers for you lead you to the Church where you can receive Him this way. Be consecrated to your husband, who is Christ. Receive the Life He has to give you. Peace as you go through these difficult days of questioning. Trust Him. He will give you the signs you will need if you ask.

Most of the time it is other evangelicals who are jealous and hire prostitutes to harass the pastor. This is common here in Brazil

Just as a note, Mr. Rogers was actually very accepting of the LGBTQ community. He even casted an out and proud gay man as one of his shows' longest recurring characters. He was also very Christian, so he had his view on things. The thing to remember is that Mr Rogers would accept you the way you are, even if he disagreed with it. Also, rhetoric at the time is different, and context is important, all that stuff.

The main reason is,.....if you believe what the Catholic church and their doctrine teaches about how to get to Heaven,.....you will NOT get to Heaven. They do not line up with good Bible believing churches. A lot of their doctrine is not Biblical.

I enjoy some of Allie's content, but she doesn't speak for all Protestants. I am not yet Catholic, but long before I even considered the possibility of conversion I didn't believe that Christians could not lose their salvation. Part of the problem within Protestant churches is picking parts of the bible and ignoring others, also making scripture mean what they want or think is should mean. Throughout the bible is evidence that we CAN, in fact, lose our salvation.

As long as we are christian and know who god is thats all matter either you are catholics, protestant, or whatever you are if you know jesus and know that he died for our sins that all and also as a christian we shouldn't sin not even a bit we all know that god hates sin so we must love god with all our hearts and commit to him and be faithful at the end we all worship the same god we dont need to differentiate between chatholic ,protestant or whatever church it is just know that when we all died where will we go hell or heaven if we want to-be save we should follow what's written in the bible and we must follow them according to it

Hi Allie, I have appreciated many of your shows and I think this issue of women teachers/preachers is nuanced depending on some factors, but I want to say that I do believe it is a sin to "roast" other Christians publicly. Well, it's a sin at anytime, but all of the online discussing internal "family matters" before the world and the kingdom of darkness may be destructive in the end. We are told not to take one another to the world's courts, but to me it seems like that is what is happening and maybe unintentionally. The world is watching, and while we may win in the end, we are giving the enemy a ton of fodder to use against us. That's just my two cents. I believe in the power of prayer which is done away from the public eye, to affect real Kingdom change.

theres a difference between the church and god. the church wanted us to rely on them to communicate with god, of course they didnt want us practicing tarot. do what you want, but you are disrespecting religious beliefs with ignorance. you are capable of using tarot cards to contact the devil the same way you are able to pray for the devil. we dont say praying is satanic though, do we? its all about intention. it is not satanic if you are christian. i was NEVER close to god before tarot, i was an atheist. tarot is the only reason i have a relationship with god.

Judge not lest you be judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged. Matt 7:1-2 To his own master he stands or falls. Jesus would not ask us to do something He would not do. Cry’s of blasphemy may in fact be blasphemy. Remember, judgment is without mercy to those who have shown no mercy. James 2:13

3:00 Tim Keller???? Tim Keller was a total REPROBATE who pushed the LGBTQIA+ heresy that sexual orientation is inborn and unchangeable. The Bible says that sexual perversion and immorality is caused by total depravity and original sin, not by fake ideology.
