As a recent convert from judaism to then baptist to finally home as Catholic, 3 years now, that was one of the first things that I got as far as a Sacramental, I wear it everyday. It is on my body 24 seven except for when I take a shower so I wear it 23 1/2 hours a day every day without fail. I have such a devotion to our beautiful, Blessed Lady. Did my consecration with the Heralds! ❤

I love your podcasts GUYS💙!💯, I WEAR mine in DESPRATE hope Our lady will come and get me, when my time comes, BUT! I Bought it myself from the parish CENTER, they are very FRAGILE, I Bought like! Ten of them😅, so finaly I got my sewing kit OUT, and used 2 or 3 OF them to make ONE really strong one, this one has HELD toghter FOR months now😃👍! I have started reading the KJV bible to😄💯! Salve Maria. Went to Mass and my Priest consecrated my scapular. Thank you for sharing this. I wear it with my St. Benedict Metal. I work and I don't care what people think about me. I wear these everyday. I noticed when I'm in contact with people seem not to be able to look at my St. Benedict Metal. I work in a library and people check out books on witchcraft, etc. These people can't look at it.

Yes there is an enrollment. I done mine May of this year. You can ask any Priest (or call them) to set up an appointment. It literally takes less than 4/5 minutes. I have a Catholic store that I go to a couple times a year. So on my way there (to meet the Priest) I stopped by and bought some more of them. One of them had literally a small leaflet with the enrollment. I met the Priest and he asked if I had that with me. He said no. Big deal he had one that he could get. So me having one just made things easier. I say the Rosary every day. So one of the conditions of the brown scapular the Rosary can be substituted for praying the Little Office with a Priest permission. He said that would be good. It’s so, so easy to be enrolled. Sorry for the lengthy response.

A lot of priests do know or do not want to enroll people/ family I bring to them to enroll in the brown scapular, they insist on just blessing the scapular.

Salve Maria Fr. Timothy ! We recently witnessed on the Feast of Mt.Carmel several people were receiving the scapular for the first time . However the priest said the necessary prayers and blessing but did not impose the scapular on them and asked them to put it on themselves. So, is that valid ?

My priest did not know how to do the enrolment into the Brown Scapular so I found it online and wrote it down for him to say it and brought my own scapular. I’m concerned though because I later found out that holy water should have also been used and since it wasn’t then perhaps I’ve not been enrolled properly. Can anyone enlighten me on this? Thanks.

@@katperson7332 based on my own personal experience, I first wore my scapular without being enrolled. I just wore it on my own free will, I guess, inspired by the holy spirit and the blessed mother. then, one day, after wearing it for a few years, I forgot to wear it the first time because I was in a hurry. as I was walking in the streets I felt like I wasn't dressed up. I really felt so uncomfortable so I was trying to figure out why it felt like I didn't wear a dress. then I remembered that I wasn't wearing my scapular. so I learned that even if I wasn't enrolled and my scapular wasn't blessed, I knew I had the promise made by the blessed mother to those who wore the scapular. because when I forgot to wear it, the *"feeling"* that I wasn't wearing anything on, I believed, that was the *"protection"* of the blessed mother. so I felt like I wasn't protected at all 'cuz I should have worn my *"protection".* a few more years had passed before I was able to enroll. so, if you think you are not properly enrolled just because your scapular wasn't blessed, have faith. you still have the promise of the blessed mother. as long as you wear it devoutly and you are always in a state of grace, meaning, you are not living in sin, and you pray the holy rosary every day and you attend masses, then you are very good. nothing to worry. but the simple solution to your problem is just bring your scapular to a priest and have it blessed without being enrolled again. cuz your enrollment was fine, have faith. our Lord and the blessed mother are both infinitely merciful and loving, caring and understanding. hope I enlightened you.
