Great video. As a note, BO2 also caps out at 255, but 255 has only ever been achieved fairly recently on Buried. I’m not sure if BO1 caps at 255 but no one has ever made it that far on any BO1 map.

Yk what I went back to zombies for the first time in a few good years (I last played zombie chronicles when it came out) so like? Nearly 7 years. I beat my record round on origins which was 22 and I got to 37 just with a group of randoms that left me on round 20.

This also happens in BO1 and 2 but since the reset time is shorter and there are no gobblegums, it's harder to reach

Bo1 doesn't round cap at 255 though Bo2 and Bo3 cap at 255 CW caps at 935 WaW & Bo1 cap at (2^31)-1 Bo4 isn't confirmed to cap

[Ah, you did look at the code reason at the end, i thought you were just claiming it was the 8 bit thing] Its actually not because of the round being stored in 8 bits (maybe the visual counter is), it's literally just that there is 2 lined in the games code that say: if new_round > 255, new_round = 255
