Habiru may have been just one of these catch-all terms. Perhaps like the way many Europeans simply used the word "Turk" for any Mediterranean people, Muslim or not. Or perhaps in the same way the name 'Welsh' was an early medieval word meaning 'slave' yet became the name the modern Welsh adopted for themselves. You know, maybe, through use Habiru in Egypt just became a term for 'slave' and the Israelites also adopted it to describe themselves.

Already there Egyptians and Nubians were originally the same people that developed into two massive tribes then civilizations Egypt becoming the more popular one developed stronger as more colonisers from Asia and Europe came to either invade or settle which made Egypt diverse

@ it’s really that simple lookin at from a biblical perspective it literally says Egypt-Mizraim and Kush-Nubia were brothers meaning they would have been the same race of people.If u look at the walls of the different temples in Egypt they were pretty much dark skinned and they’re culture and clothing style was very similar to other African civilizations and Nubians were presented as such too yes they were sometimes presented with darker skin but that doesn’t mean anything as africans and black people in general don’t all have the same skin tones and in some of the temples Nubians were also presented with the brown Egyptian skin tone

Majority of people in Egypt today are not ethnic Egyptians but just arabs from Arabia. Ethnic Egyptians left are the christian copts, Jews and Egyptian mix in the Arab bloodline by forced conversion.

​@@Wordaround101 The Bible says that they (Israelites) came out of Egypt as a "mixed multitude". I think, it is most likely that they mixed with the Hyksos, because the Israelites settled in and around the city of Avaris, which was the Hyksos capital located in the eastern Nile Delta (Goshen).

It's just reading a lot of history and putting it all together. Read enough and enough pieces fit together. Must learn what questions to ask to then see the answer come out. We know Hyksos are Hebrews like Israelites and even some Arabs partially. We know 70 Israelites entered Egypt, yet millions left on exodus 430 years later. 70 into millions even in 430 years is quite a feat. We know there were 40 good years followed by 400 years of slavery. What went bad after 40 good years? Outside of potifer's wife's problem causing, why were the 70 Israelites well received? It's been historically proven but sadly not well adversused that the Hebrew Hyksos had conquered Egypt prior to Joseph. The Hebrew Hyksos welcomed the Hebrew Israelites as kinfolk.40 years later, the Egyptians overthrew Hyksos rule and then both Hebrew groups were enslaved. What transpired is the Hebrew Hyksos received the God of Abraham and both groups became one. It matters not that the Hyksos are the bulk of what we now call Israelites. They merged, with the larger taking on the identity of the smaller. This is the reason that the bible says, the nation of Israel was born in Egypt ! The Hyksos are the largest part in the Israelite bloodlines. History records Hyksos entered Egypt but does not record their leaving as they left under the name Israelite. Remember Rebecca & Leah ? They were other Hebrew kinfolk too. History on purpose tries to hide many things especially if the role of Jews ancestors are involved. Today Jews are maybe 1% but the known world back then, Israelites might have been even 10%. The Israelites thru history have had so many peoples join them. After the Esther affair, lots of Persians became Israelites. The world has a warped sense of history. They center on Jews and not on the 12 tribes scattered everywhere in the world or over a billion with some Israelite ancestry. Few are bewildered hearing that the largest Jewish group in Israel is mizrachi Jews as they never even heard of them. Then the phonecians ? Phonecians were only a mix of Israelites & cainanites as a sea faring people united in their trades. No way I can download all the details. I rely on not reading but comprehension of what I read. And how do we know exodus of millions ? Were told in scripture that there were 600 thousand military aged males. That implies 600 military aged women. Then guess at how many children and how many elderly, all healthy on the exodus. That's possibly 4-6 million. That's how history teaches from what's stated about what's not stated but realistically implied

The cave paintings in the beginning are from Avaris Egypt, These people who dressed like Joseph with coats of many colors were called the Amo.. which means God's people.. The Hyksos people were most likely the Egyptian name for Semitic Isrealis or Amo. They infiltrated the upper Egyptian government and took over northeast and west Egypt, controlling the Mediterranean trade routes with the Minoans of Santorini Islands.
