I think that Judah absorbed Simeon, so they might have just identified as Judah. That is speculation on my part, so don’t quote it as gospel! When Israel started worshiping other Gods, the Levites went to Jerusalem.(remember that they had been scattered throughout all Israel) Benjamin’s inheritance was very close to Jerusalem.

I'm not entirely convinced that after being kicked out of the garden that all or most people did not continue to have a relationship with God. It seems to me that it's very plausible that most common people did have Relationship with God up until around the time of the Cross. But for the social, political, business and religious leaders, those may have been more like what we see still in modern times, and I think that is supported by the way God admonishes them so often in scripture. My thinking is God was constantly communicating with the common people in their dreams and at different points in their lives. This would mean that common people were relative more aware or even very aware of their spiritual body and spiritual nature while living in the material. This could explain much of the strange behaviors and actions that took place in ancient times according to scripture. In Malachi 3:1 we see the foretelling of a transition. Two messengers and one of those who we will "delight" in. I have asked Jewish Rabbis about that passage and the answer has been that God is talking only about one messenger. I'm Jewish but because of my memory being with God from my pbe, and the events of my life, I believe in The Gospel of Christ.

If you are suggesting a "spiritual Israel," and a "spiritual Jew" from these verses....As most Christians infer (conclude)....That is known as eisegesis; or reading into the text. While for the most part this video is historically quite accurate, and the narrator's narration quite articulate and his pronunciations easily understood to the hearers that understand the English language, there are at least two errors I noted in this video in its spelling, subscripts words, and unclarified homonyms, word meanings pronounced the same, that can have more than one, or different applications, but spelled differently. For example, at KZbin video running time 1:46 the narrator correctly states God called Abraham from his home in Ur (this is the correct spelling, "Ur, [for example, 'you are'] " and pronunciation in English, however, the error is what is shown on the screen as the word "EARTH." An abbreviated list of prophecies: David had the promise of a future appointed place for Israel. (2 Samuel 7: 10) This appointed place was to be in the Isles afar off from Palestine. (Isaiah 41: 1 Jeremiah 31: 10) A place where we were to be saved from our enemies. (Luke 1: 71) Delivered out of the hands of our enemies. Based on your knowledge about the Jews who lived in Iraq for seventy years and those who never returned back to Jerusalem, and spread their ideology and culture among many Eastern countries, I grew up in a Muslim country where I saw and experienced the Bible culture. Everything around me was just as I was living during the Biblical times. Even one city of my former country was built on the pattern of Jerusalem. As Jerusalem had many gates so the city Lahore had gates, the same types of bazars, same jewelry that is mentioned in the Book of Isaiah. My culture was so similar to the Biblical Jewish culture that I never needed to study books to know about the Bible culture. Galatians 3:16 “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. Because Herod felt threatened by this new child king, he sent soldiers who “slew all the children that were in Bethlehem” (v.16). Joseph was warned of the impending crisis in advance when “The angel of the Lord appeareth to [him] in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word” (v. 13). So the family arose and “departed into Egypt” (v. 14). At the end of Jesus’ 40 days, He resists Satan’s temptations by quoting three Scriptures-all from Deuteronomy! * In Psalm 80:8, God calls Israel a “vine” that He brought “out of Egypt.” Jesus later declares, “I am the true vine” (John 15:1). * In the Old Testament, the name “Israel” first applied to one man: Jacob-representing his spiritual victory over sin. Even so, in the New Testament, Jesus Christ is the Israel who came “out of Egypt.” He is the one victorious man who overcame all sin! More Striking Evidence! The list of parallels between Jesus and Israel goes on but consider just a few more points. For example, after healing a group of people, Jesus modestly “charged them that they should not make him known: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias [Greek for Isaiah] the prophet, saying, Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets” (Matthew 12:16-19). Here the writer quotes Isaiah 42:1-3, a passage that originally applied to “Israel, ... my servant” (Isaiah 41:8). Yet Matthew again tells us it is “fulfilled” in Jesus Christ! The apostle Paul also follows the principle in his letters of applying statements originally made about the nation of Israel to Jesus Christ. God called Israel “my firstborn” in Exodus 4:22. Yet Paul said it was Jesus Christ who is “the firstborn of every creature” (Colossians 1:15). The clearest example is when God calls Israel “the seed of Abraham” (Isaiah 41:8). However, Paul later writes that Abraham’s seed does not refer to “many,” but to “one, ... which is Christ” (Galatians 3:16). Thus we discover that repeatedly in the New Testament, statements that once applied to the nation of Israel are now applied to Jesus Christ. The Messiah is now “the seed.” Therefore, Jesus is the very essence of Israel! This is an explosive truth, and it cannot be ignored if we are to truly understand the role and identity of modern Israel. A New Nation Yet there is more. Remember that the name “Israel” not only referred to Jacob, but also to his descendants-who became Israel. The same principle is seen in the New Testament. For example, the Lord told the ancient Israelites, “And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation” (Exodus 19:6). In the New Testament, Peter applies these exact words to the church: “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people” (1 Peter 2:9). Likewise, immediately after Paul’s statement in Galatians 3 about Jesus being “the seed,” he then tells his Gentile (a non- Jew) converts, “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29). Thus in the New Testament, the name Israel not only applies to Jesus Christ, but also to those who are born in Christ-His Church! In other words, all true Christians are now God’s spiritual Israel. The church is called the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27), which is one reason why James, when writing to the church, addresses it as the 12 tribes that are scattered abroad (James 1:1).
