Oh forgot to say that brain rot counts towards the kills for melee so if you get the augment that makes them explode and turns others then run elemental pop with the augment that makes it active more and only applies your ammo mod makes the camo grind for knifes very easy. Also works on rocket launchers

good simple grind for doing the knife is using it the first 3 rounds if youre camo grinding other guns, itll slowly add up

The biggest disappointment in this grind for me was that the Triple Shot augment for Melee Macchiato straight up doesn't work with the knife. Others do, so taking all that time to max out that perk ended up just being moot. Also, maybe I just suck, but it seems you can't hit weak spots on abominations.

Since u fully upgraded it, the minor augment that refills ur held weapons ammo can bypass the jetguns cooldown. Try it out it’s rlly OP

Honestly wasn't trying to go through this melee grind as it's finicky and takes time so used the liberty falls bowling alley glitch and fought many abominations during the time I used the knife. I got a crit on them one time during the around 40-50 rounds. Possible, but very very improbable

Dude even if you don't use melee machito it's very very good for removing armor on manglers. The first punch removes there chest armor and head armor so it makes guns/melee do way better

Not sure if its shown in the video, but the knife has two attack options, left click for normal attack, but right click and hold for a charged attack, and that kills boss zombies pretty quickly

I love doing melee only games! The first time i tried on Liberty falls I got to round 40 and the fully maxed out knife without the augments gets you to round 38 with one hit kills. I need to research more on mm and go again. I've been grinding gun camos, but I want to do another melee only game now that I have the bat. It swings faster, reaches further and makes an awesome ping sound like you hit a home run. Lol

Part of the EE has you purifying these orbs and the zombies will constantly spawn on you till you do what your suppose to do. Might be the fastest way to get camos grinded but it can be super crazy and the zombies wont drop anything so you'll have to constantly buy ammo and will run out of armor plates if you're not carful.

I think the knife and baseball bat are going to be a nightmare when it comes to 30 mangler kills and 10 elite zombie kills. It’s hard enough killing an elite with an automatic weapon the way it is.

For me knife gameplay is the best one. Melee-macchiato > pack 123. On melee-macchiato I use life steal and more damage to normal enemies. You can easy kill 1000-1500 zombies per game untill round 31. for other perks I like to use quick-revive for faster regen, jugger-nog, and stamin-up. On ammo i prefer napalam.

Pro tip for melee: if you run up to a zombie then back step while they swing THEN hit them, youll avoid damage. Bonus tip: on liberty falls, the best way to grind headshots is by running in a circle in the bowling lanes. They just group up in the middle. Plus the abomination wont go in there. And if it does, leave and wait for it to spawn in a new area then run back and youre safe. Happy hunting

In cold war- depending on the weapon, melee was one hit to roughly round 10 unupgraded. THAT SAID! Melee weapons didn't have a dedicated slot like they do in 6 so you had to sacrifice a gun for it, and it had some broken upgrades you could get.

So the way I went about getting the knife at least all the way to purple tiger was simply using it in the first 4 rounds only while I've been doing my other camo grinds. You get slightly more points using melee, so it's a good way to build up right in the beginning. Trying to just solo with the knife an entire match seems like pure torture lol

if you didn’t know lego there is a glitch where you can be basically invincible you have to get the new melee perk then hit a boat onto the path then block off one side but make sure it blows up and then do the same for the stairs then they can’t get past.

Hold melee. It should swap to your knife. If you're planning on going for melee macchiato don't do triple shot. It doesn't work with knives so i was very disappointed with it. Go for vampiric extraction. It'll save both your time and your life on runs. Highly recommend.

Getting to good XP rounds with a knife is easy...ish Using a pistol that isn't the USP45 is much more challenging. (Yeah, it was on me for bringing a .22, but come on! 2 headshots per kill at round 1 +1 per round till you pack? Not great)

Oh, you looked at the reply? Here's a knifing tip for you. Running zombies pre swing depending on how fast you are going. That's how they hit you even when you're goin' fast as frick, boi! Knowing that, you can bait a swing into whiffing by stopping or changing direction the moment you come into range. This is how you can whittle down a train without getting hit *every* time
