This was really useful! I've used some features in the "n" menu before, but symmetry has always confused me. I also confess to building underground "connectors" between parts of my base -- until now! I love the new oxygen-leak trail too. Movado, I enjoy your builds in the workshop. Thank you for also making these guides.

Thanks James and I appreciate the feedback! Always great to hear when others find my content helpful. Always feel free to throw other questions you may have. Those have spurred a few of my current videos 😊

I think the BP parts bit is so you can save sections for use later. So if you make an awesome thruster housing for example. You can save it and use it on another build. At least that's what I think it does

I did some testing on this after the video. What it does is save a selection location on the BP. So you can quickly re-highlight that specific section of the build, without redoing the area sliders. After playing around with it, I don’t see many practical applications of it. This would be very helpful for the POI construction sets that are on the workshop, or anything else where the BP has pieces that the end user can put together.

I have useed the bottom parts (save to blueprint list) but it seems to only work per session. I don't know if there is a way to keep those parts to make a modular set of building blocks that can grow as new modules are added.

How do I change the color or the soul siphon from green to any other color?
@RollinShultz8 ай бұрын
I have used connect to base, but I can't find a way to reverse that and disconnect a part to make a separate unit with its own core.

You need a starter block for that. A core won’t allow you to start a new base.
