@@Cashmoneez I don't know, personally, I don't like looking at it that way...the psychology of a team has so much to do with their performance, which is why you hear so many players talk about vibes...I can imagine that if Tomo was signed for 100t from the beginning of the year, he might have had the same level of success as Meech so far...I truly think the whole stint of being kicked from Dig into the shadow realm of t2 only to get a last-second shot to prove himself put a fire under his ass that carried into the team as a whole It must fucking such to be Meech tho, you're basically out of a job after this

@@CxerRy96 I disagree just from seeing them play tomo is a much better adc mechanically and champ pool wise. I have no idea if he's better for the team vibe wise or has any leadership role but its clear as day from both his time on dig (pretty much the only bright spot of that team) and now 100t that he is more mechanically proficient than meech who was super unreliable in fights and an overrated smolder merchant at best imo

Not only all that, but he watched his big brother fail to make it to World's/find any real success in the LCS. He likely saw how hard it was for Viper and this year wasn't a cakewalk for Sniper either. He gets to go to Worlds not only for himself, but for his brother too. He worked hard with his team, pulling off an underdog story to get there. Grats to the whole team.

Honestly, I'm not worried about 100T in playins because River is good enough to ensure the games just go smoothly against any other playin team except maybe MDK. This was so satisfying because 100T played like they wanted to go to worlds while C9 played like it was their birthright.

I was on the nasus train early it's just sooo turbo busted the main reason is just his passive there is no single champ being picked mid in the game who can push him out of lane so he just ends up getting to infinitely scale. The downside of the champ is the idea you punish his incredibly weak lane except you actually just can't. I think people in more modern times never really have experienced what's making nasus broken. League has long moved past the design idea of having champs who stat check people and if they are ahead you can't win. That's not even talking about his ultimate which the stronger his passive lifesteal the more impactful it becomes to just gain a huge amount of armor and Mr and HP. This champ will basically always be in a weird spot if he's too easy to kill in lane he's unplayable if his sustain is too high he has no real weakness and the single largest factor is him being played mid. None of the meta champs have what is required to actually stop him from taking over a game but then people are playing garen mid like why not take a Darius or fiora and actually be able to just dumpster him in lane that's why you aren't seeing him spammed top because alot of those picks can just win the fights and punish him hell even a renekton mid which has seen tons of play there before can have a way better game into a nasus. The ad meta mid is just hard hard countered by him especially how broken wither becomes by 2 items when these champs are getting their spikes sadly the moment they nerf his passive from the obsurd 12% back to 10% he will be way less op and bring his level 11 down from 18 back to 15 or people start playing things that can win the game and it just won't be as busted but if you give him a totally free lane yeah he's too broken. It's also a bit of a symptom of jungle pick currently aswell

On paper the worse team won this Bo5. Now those play-ins will be really fun to watch. MDK: Our greatest weakness is worlds play-ins. 100T:Didn't watch enough NA to write anything. FLY: Already lost to PSG earlier this year, but since than they look better. Unlikely they will finish 3rd, but who knows.

Jojo has the “doesn’t play to win and doesn’t hate losing” mentality. He over and over again in important series fails to play like his career is on the line which honestly this series should be the end of it on C9

No doubt he needs to go. Id strip the whole team honestly at this point and start fresh. Thanatos is great in lane but looks completely lost mid game and has bad chemistry in fights. Blaber seems out of it and has failed too many times, jojo is just bad, berserker has been on a spiraling downfall and isn’t as good as everyone says and vulcan has no voice and leadership which is required for a support.

@@matthewminogue3276 Vulcan and Jojo at the minimum need to be kicked. Blabber I’m neutral because he has had a lot of success but his play style has changed over the last 2 years. Beserker has insane hands and losing him I think would be a mistake. Thanatos seems to actually look hungry and trying to win games but he’s only been on for half a split.

Actual tragedy. C9 has no real Alpha on the team, they are not on the same page. I've always had respect for Blaber, and I think he is a good player, but Jack really needs to try and get Inspired in the off season. C9 needs a CEO in game, someone who can make tempo calls and control the flow of the game.

C9s problem isn't individual skill, there just isn't a person on the team that everyone is listening to in critical moments. For what it's worth I don't think they will be able to keep most of these players, but they clearly lacked a leader in game.

They don't have a shotcaller like a Nisqy type person. Jojo is a clicker, Thanatos is a rookie and Berserker is also a clicker. Vulcan is historically also a clicker as a support. Inspired or maybe bwipo is their best option. Their best chance is to give up/trade Thanatos for Bwipo.

exactly what I was thinking, C9 has no real big voice to lead them through the game. TL has impact and core, fly has inspired/bwipo and what does C9 have? blaber is really good mechanically and he's a good jungler but hes not a leader especially when it comes to macro and sidelaning, vulcan is the same, good at finding engages and teamfighting but not a good leader.

I don’t want to see sniper vs bin i’m not going to lie. Like no disrespect to sniper but he is losing every single lane I see him play and is just getting dragged across the finish line.

Why though? You wont see him face Bin again for a long time. That also depends if Sniper can consistently go to worlds. Dont you want to see how he will atleast stand up to Bin himself?
