It’s so shameful that we’re heading towards the middle of the 21st century yet our very own Kenyan engineers and contractors cannot design and build world class highways without the help of foreign firms from China, Japan and other developed countries! 😢 Just go to Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 and see the kind of roads being built by Zimbabwe Engineers and contractors without any help from foreign companies! Hii Kenya tuko nyuma kweli 😢 12:04 And road encroachment by traders and hawkers is a very annoying habit in this country! Alafu once the day is done, mama mboga throw all the leftovers in the drainage and sidewalks right next to the highway 🤢🤮 I don’t think kama wakenya tuko sawa upstairs! 😏

We need CLOSED drainages on the sides of the road, especially in heavily populated areas. Street traders keep throwing trash and food waste into storm water drains which is why they block every time it rains.

This is why they need collaboration with nairobi sanitary services so everyone can do bits of work they now with good quality. Though I agree with you with how the trash chokes the drains when it rains and gets worse when it floods

Even the more they should be open , people should learn not to throw waste in drainage and blame kenha.

@@williamwatitwa3534 Stop excusing poor design and substandard work in order to make savings. Open drainages are a thing of the past. I don't litter or throw waste in drainage channels but I am forced to deal with it because of the street traders, pedestrians and drivers who do. Open drainages are also very unsafe for pedestrians. Obviously public education, bins along pedestrian walkways and coordination with other public services is also needed.

The road is also dirty. It needs serious cleaning, marking, landscaping, and painting of its concrete barriers.

So kenha have made a road , kenyans encroach on the road and blame kenha , you should blame those encroaching not those who built the road. The mentality of kenyans blaming everything on government when they aren't playing their part, you litter the roads , block the drainages and encroach the roads but blame gvnt

Everyday we ask just for one thing, mark Kenyan roads. Stop looking for particular roads to show when most of them are not marked and drainages clogged.

You need to finish the kwa jomvu road and prevent shoddy work being done on your roads.

Work with Zoning people to let businesses know that sidewalks and drainage need to be somewhat metres beyond the main road.

@15:13 just look at this and tell if its of good quality/finishing . This road with easily be flooded with heavy rains no sidewalks for pedestrians and can barely tell if they have any signs for directions or traffic

Jogoo Road if full of potholes,eastern Bypass service lanes on both sides potholes everywhere and uneven Road,Mombasa Road potholes and uneven Road...damaged by the Chinese when constructing expressway......Flyover construction has stalled near panari on msa Road

Fix Kenyatta avenue. Fix street lights that are off on Thika Road. Mark roads every quarter

You need to always clean those roads especially road that pass through towns they are filthy and also make sure that roads are free from encroachment that makes the optimality not achieved

Complete the repairs on Mombasa road. The road is such a big mess. It's a shame that such a critical artery in the city is that horrible with potholes, uneven surface, no streetlights, no drainage, no road marks and signage etc.

Redo the whole of cbd, westlands , uhuru highway and mombasa road..... those are not roads... then you guys need to be serious with landscaping, drainage and walk ways... terrible. ... very bad

Why not erect barriers to prevent motorists from driving or parking on sidewalks? The sidewalks running along ngong road have been encroached by car yards and nightclubs that use the sidewalks as parking lots. Case in point, club Quiver in Kilimani uses a service lane as its parking lot and its alleged that they paid you guys to look the other way. Kenya is a country of one step forward and two steps backwards.

Honestly, I'm not impressed with kenha. Who design Kenyan roads? actually most of the roads are left unfinished. You don't put road signs, no sign boards to show the area your heading to. We need management who are updated.

Kenha what i have problems with is that most roads funded by the government are built of poor quality without sidewalks and simple road signs along with drainage . I dont know which architect/engineer will plan for such roads to be built . Work with the zoning people on the county level

If we had a competent and patriotic Roads CS and DG KENHA we could get quality work done, the problem all of them are after kitu kidogo to fatten their stomachs. Until we get good leaders who put the country first then we will forever be behind the fast evolving technology.

you guys destroyed the beauty of waiyaki way. Imagine using billions to make road worse than before, the road is now full of bumps, dumping everywhere and dont even mention how westlands roundabout area look like. gen zs we will make sure people responsible get jailed one day and it will be soon
