Did you not watch the Mauro Biglino video's ?? He is former Vatican translator and will tell you that YHWH cannot be translated and should be left alone. If you look back you can see that the Vatican put out a letter in 2004 to scholars and churches saying do not substitute the word' eternal' for YHWH. If you do some research you will find Yahweh as an old desert god .... the name is first found in Egypt in Hieroglyphics ... but seems to be imported into Canaan. Biglino would tell you that YHWH is just one of 20 Elohim that can be identified in the OT. He has written about all of this in at least 3 books.

+Reba Bend I can't control what makes you sick, so I apologize in advance. However, I do challenge you to read Genesis 5 around I the beginning I believe. The image of God is both male and female. This is the challenge: If you want to understand God, it isn't through only reading the bible or whatever. Just observe the creation. Notice how most life forms consist of a male part and a female part. One cannot exist functionally without the other. It's just common sense and I don't really need a book to explain this. When you read Romans, it says that everything was made from the invisible. If all the living creations, which are predominantly male and female, came from invisible beings, wouldn't it suffice to say that those beings represent the beginning and the power of all living things male and female...not confuse unisex.

In English the Vav has an oo or u sound, so His name is written YAH-U-AH, the U replaces the vav in written English English for correct sound. But beware in using the sacred name, it has a curse if misused. Yah is the short form as in Hallelu-YAH, there is NO W in The name of Elohim!
