@@HollyG1903 - Realistically, she can’t quit KZbin. What else can she do to make money so easily? Her medical bills alone are going to keep climbing. If Wifey sticks around, I hope she convinces Amberlynn to get Obamacare insurance (Affordable Care Act, Kentucky uses a different name but it’s the same program). She can apply entirely online. She is not eligible for subsidies, but won’t be asked for medical history or have to reveal her weight or anything like that. They go entirely by age. So she could get a good policy for the same price as anyone her age and be able to more easily slip into getting subsidies if her income crashes. She should have done this years ago. I wonder if some clueless friends convinced her not to do it, out of abysmal ignorance? She has wasted so much money using the ER as her primary physician and also has to step lively to avoid the medical debt collectors.

Regarding the whole “therapy shopping” thing, I would be tempted to say the reason she only does a handful of sessions with each one before saying that they “don’t jive” is because that’s how long it takes them to call her on her bullshit. I’ve been watching ALR for years and have seen her start and stop seeing therapists countless times with the same excuse. Therapists are there to help you heal and better yourself, sometimes that means giving you the hard truths and if we know anything about ALR, it’s that she cannot handle that. So, the therapist starts noticing a pattern of behavior from her after a few sessions and then when they bring it up and shatter the image she has of herself in her head, all of the sudden they “just don’t jive” and she’s looking for a new one to try to dupe 🤷🏻‍♀️

👏 thank you, someone was trying to call me out on someone else's channels comments and I was trying to convey this to them but they're clearly a delusional Ambaby and could not admit this truth. They tried to say it was the same as Callie mocking her mental health which isn't even the truth, reaction channels are simply doing that, reacting. And when Amber has all the resources, time, and money to do something about her mental health as oppose to Callies health issues that she can do little to nothing about is completely different. Especially when Amber doesn't even see an issue with her behavior in the first place and doesn't think she needs help, I mean she already stopped seeing her most recent therapist because "they didn't jive," which translates to her therapist probably not agreeing with her or telling her what she wants to hear.

Just because Amberlynn tells her viewers that she is the victim does not make it true. It’s hard to realize how pathological liars work if you have never encountered one, but I have. They do a lot of damage simply because so many people hear what they say and do not realize how extensive their lies can be, without any truth at all.

Regarding the empath thing, empaths are generally quite codependent people with a history of trauma. They learned to be hyper aware and alert to the emotions of others in order to detect danger, and have poor internal and external boundaries, lack assertiveness and put others' feelings and wants before their own feelings and needs. Perfectionistic to avoid criticism that flashes them back emotionally to trauma, often overly forgiving due to low self esteem, and focus on fixing others. They're essentially the inversion of a narcissist- the narcissist blocks themselves off emotionally from criticism and will find any way to discount it, the empath compulsively behaves however they think others want them to in order to avoid it altogether. Both lack a stable sense of self, are ultimately vulnerable and can be considered chameleons. In truth, 'empath' is usually just shorthand for 'codependent'. This isn't to hate on people who consider themselves empaths btw. I used to have every trait of an empath, and now I don't, after several years spent in trauma therapy and learning about boundaries and developing the courage to be disliked if that's what it takes.

You couldn't have said it better. I'm generally very tuned in on everyone's feelings around me because I had to learn to be that way. I had a shit home life and even shittier friends. It took me a long time to recognize and accept just how codependent I am, and even longer to start learning to stand up for myself and do things in a way I want to do them instead of constantly asking others how I should do something or how they want it to be done. It's not something to brag about either the way Amberlynn has always done. It's not a fun quirky thing you adopt just because it sounds cool or you think it makes you a better person. Being an empath is not fun. It's tiring, and it sometimes even makes me paranoid, and is a source of a lot of anxiety.

Yep, after many many years of abuse I'm very empathetic and co dependent. I worry about everyone elses feelings because if anyone isn't ok or happy I feel it, I can't even watch some shows and movies because the awkward situations or pain of characters seriously upsets me. Literally working on this in therapy to stop. It doesn't make me a good person, it just makes me tired and sad.

When I had one small, older dog (8 yo shihtzu/terrier mix), I was easily hitting 5000-6000 steps a day, especially on the weekends when I had more time for longer walks with him. I think the fact she talks about finding a new therapist is evidence that Wifey is still there. We know she won't stick to therapy for more than a few weeks, but normally she would just quit going to therapy, I think, and not mention it this early. Wifey may simply have laid down the law: Amberlynn cannot talk about her at all to her viewers or on social media. Amberlynn has no boundaries, it has to be all or nothing. She has a history of pulling people into her videos who don’t want to be there, going back all the years she has been on KZbin. We know Wifey was around to draft that “apology” - who else in Amberlynn’s life could do that, and make her post it? As someone with a FitBit, I can confirm that it is SUPER easy to fake steps. It just senses motion, not location. So you can sit on the couch, take off your tracker, and just tap it against your leg and BOOM step goal met. I've cheated back steps before, to make up for untracked steps when I've done activity while not wearing my FitBit.

I try for 2 hours of walk in place a day (usually a side step) while I’m reading, watching videos/tv, playing games mostly. Since pedometers typically are not great at picking up walk in place, I just use the stopwatch feature on my phone to track the time and stop it and start it over the course of the day and then manually add it as needed to the iPhone Health app. Usually 60 steps per minute is given for walk in place, but I use 50 steps per minute from actually counting my slowest pace. My cheapie wrist pedometer picks up a fraction of those steps only if I am moving fast enough, so I don’t worry about double counting. So I get 6000 steps in 2 hours. She could certainly get 6000 regular steps just deliberately walking around her apartment, since I have a smaller space and routinely get 3000-4000 such steps in a day. I hope she gets to that goal and isn’t lying about it.
