Thanks for posting this! Living in the middle of nowhere makes it hard to get to any live shows, so I really appreciate it when artists share video from live events

Banger after banger. I've listened to this so much over the last month I can sing along with the banter between songs now.

For sensory+disability reasons I don't go to shows but I love this its a fucking joy to feel a part of the show in a way I haven't experienced in live show recordings before, without being close to meltdown and feeling trapped in my wheelchair by people

@LoudlyListening I am autistic and disabled and yeah shows are very hard. I've been to one it was with my best friend and we sat way at the back and it was still hard. I love them in theory but in reality it's so hard so by the time musicians are big enough to afford to come to my country there is no chance I'd be able to cope. So yes the live recordings really are nice. Though I do often wish I could actually go to the performances

@@LoudlyListening what kind of preparations could I take if I was going to do a more accessible show for people who find traditional shows sensorially overloading? No pressure to answer, but it's something I've been thinking about!

@@TheNarcissistCookbook I am not OP, but since I am both neurodivergent and work with kids and teens with disabilities and sensory issues, here are my 5 cents: - If possible, have staff hand out noice-cancelling earplugs or similar. A lot of people who need them bring them themselves, but offering them will reduce the barrier of "should I" - If the venue is big enough, have a semi-isolated area that is a bit further back or to the side. It might feel exclusionary, but as long as people can choose to sit there for themselves it is an option, not an imposition. Seats there should be further apart so that people can rearrange them and to leave room for something like wheelchairs - In tandem with the last part, a screen showing what happens on stage will make that "further back area" feel like less of a downgrade. Sure, some might argue that you're just looking at a recording like you do here, but it's a live recording and you are THERE - that still makes quite the difference. - Last but not least: The audience will cheer and sing along, and they should be able to of course, but asking them at the start of your show to respect some cues, like not interrupting you with shouts while you're announcing a song, can also help tremendously. Especially if you're playing to smaller crowds where the measures mentioned above might not be possible. Like I said, this is *mostly* an outside perspective and some of these things might not be possible at certain venues, but I love the fact that you're asking, so I wanted to at least pitch in with my experiences.
