A fairly new/old violin student, I stumbled upon this video by just simply googling, "what is the Nashville Numbering System", and - one minute into the video, I thought, "Who is this woman, and I absolutely love her, and her teaching style". While I love playing Vivaldi, Reiding and Kuchler - I feel like this is just what I need to help me develop freedom while I play - and, who doesn't just love fiddlers?! What a gift! Thank you.

I’ve never met another teacher that can top Megan’s wit and wisdom. She’s the best there is.

I signed up with Fiddlevideo yesterday to do the rest of your lessons 😱 what a gift! If I hadn’t see this video I’d probably still be figuring out how to play in every key and how to do backfills. Also excellent teaching style you hit on exactly what people are thinking before they even think it. I’m looking forward to future lessons in this series. I can’t stop practicing. I love all the variety that the complete channel has to offer, but it was your video that finally make me want to take the plunge ❤️

Awesome. Is there a vid for soloing when you don’t know the scale of the key? I feel like I’m halfway there with this vid!
