It's a really solid strategy but any amount of serious pressure may make you want to just stay heroic age and fight there instead of going mythic. Biggest weakness is your gold mine runs out. Someone actually tried it verse me the other day. I'll put the game up soonish.

You can even save your myths units until you make one or two avengers and use eclipse

I would stop the teching in the heroic age and put a migdol down then start spamming either chariots or camelry depending on what my opponent was going for. Ensure you put houses around towers/walls and stuff. ;)
