The National was in my city Albuquerque NM US in November 2023. In a small venue with 1,500 at the most. The put on a BEST SHOW, the band was so very much loving us. One of the best concerts of my life, and I lived in San Francisco for 15 years and saw many acts. We've even flew to Europe to follow Sigur Ros in 2022 to six shows. The National is the BEST BAND touring and live.

@@jsegura525 That’s so true! I’ve seen them five times for the last year and that were some of the best experiences of my life. You can see how they actually enjoy touring, interacting with each other and with the audience, playing new songs, hits and deep cuts. I’ve burst into tears twice at their shows and yesterday I cried again watching their Glastonbury performance of About Today. It’s inspiring, sad, beautiful, personal. The whole range of emotions. That’s what music should be all about.

@user-ey5nl8ow8h - the two videos from the Glastonbury show are both fantastic. No doubt the whole show was top notch. My sister and I were at the Albuquerque show. When Matt came into the crowd he sat face down fetal position in the chair next to me, it was priceless fun. The band will be back in the US this fall. I hope to catch the Denver show.

I enjoyed the set which made me switch over from SZA. Lauren Laverne said the pyramid stage was filling up started late because of the sounds issues half full not bloody likey. Also had I been in the crowd Glastonbury festival what I do at Glastonbury festival as a punter I would have done watching on the tv as a viewer. Worst crowd for 20 years

Why are BBC always so TERRIBLE at mixing the live shows for video. I've never heard any proper live mix. Clean it up, BBC. Also, director, SHOW THE FUCKING DRUMMER, why don't they show the drummer? The drumming is the absolute highlight here. Fucking shame this is.
@raymondwilliams90755 ай бұрын
Couldn't agree more. Every set I watch at Glasto sounds amazing and then I see the recorded sets and I think WTF?? They should get the head of Australia's Triple J broadcasts. Been a while since I've tuned into any of their Live at The Wireless sets but in the 2010s the team was often commended by artists for their live recordings. I recall one major artist saying they don't like to put out live sets for this reason but they were so pleased with Triple J's mix.

I don’t understand why this song is liked so much! It’s bizarre. Strange harmony but in all the wrong ways. Half-arsed lyrics and a vocal that would sound at home at your local karaoke bar. I don’t know…. It’s obviously only me who can’t hear it with such enjoyment 😢
