What is the difference between the mande tribe and ethnic group. Mande people are people from the mande empire the largest empire of West Africa link to many countries . Mali Burkina faco ivory Coast Gambia Liberia Nigeria Niger and many more countries guinea cisse name are mande name

@@GbeliGbeli i don't think u know the history of mande people and mande empire. U should research more don't just look at the map of the composition of mande empire people how long the empire lasted . We have 16 countries in West Africa and they are mostly made of mande people from mande empire

@@hotpepper5037 Well is more complex. But to answer your question, Mende is a tribe under the Mande ethnic peoples. They are found in Mainly in Sierra Leone and a smaller portion in Liberia. The video mention other tribes under the Mande speaking peoples but Mende tribe is not found in Ivory Coast. Hope this helps clarify .
