The National Railway Museum

In this video we take a look through the vast signalling collection of the National Railway Museum
In 2023 when we visited, the museum was part way into a several year rebuild and as part of this the main signal gallery and some of the other signalling exhibits were not available with the projects remodelling
We’d like to see the signalling at the museum get more of a display alongside track work and engineering not just the locomotives and wagons and hopefully this will be addressed in the new buildings and displays and we wish the museum all the best in its endeavours towards the future and hope to see the refurbished displays when they reopen
So for this video we just concentrate upon the collections on display in the warehouse and the main hall and with no background music we will just let you enjoy what is a fantastic collection.
