The National Robotarium

Construction of the £22.4m National Robotarium is a first for the UK and a key step to establishing Edinburgh as the date capital of Europe.
The development continues the partnership between the University of Edinburgh, Heriot-Watt University and Edinburgh Centre for Robotics (ECR) who have a shared vision to create the UK’s leading innovation hub for the practical application of robotics and autonomous systems - technology that solves real-world problems.
The new 40,000 sq ft building accommodates three distinct research and development areas - robotics and autonomous systems, human and robotics interaction and high precision manufacturing.
