Why does Bryan have to ask these historical questions when he was alive during the time?

Imagine how it must have been back then, to be in a state like Montana or any of them and there's virtually no one there. A few tribes sprinkled around but just miles and miles of wilderness...

Great episode! Glad you did the show Brian! One suggestion when researching is not to think like a European and focus on war and battles. That wasn’t all the time, it was rare. A small battle was about it in regards to battles in Europe. Lot more interesting things to learn. Good job! PS: pass it on to Joe.

“He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavored to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the Merciless Indian Savages whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes, and conditions.” Declaration of Independence July 4th 1776. Also the 49er’s refer to the California government paying for the scalps of Indians and the gold territory they claimed.

The native Americans of yesterday are accurately represented by the ppl living on skid row/ woods around portland today. Life is very enjoyable when there are no responsibilities to advance society or technology. Imagine if settlers had never come, until 2023... Like he said, the pueblos lived in caves in 1500. The same year the Sistine chapel was completed.

I’m First Nations and it would be great to have a First Nations person be interviewed but I thought about it and for Bryan this was a good choice. He can be objective and since Brian is just sticking his toe in at this point. It’s going to be much easier for a First Nations person to have a discussion afterwards. It’s triggering when someone ignorant of the real history pre and post European contact tries to discuss it with you and they have that Eurocentric perspective. I give him kudos for doing the show!

Jesus was a highly evolved man. Maybe a Rasta? lol not the son of a God. We are all the son of God. The Sun is God. It truly gives its life for us. Pegan beliefs are not flawed.
