I much rather revert back to the actual cultural Hebraic sources of Biblical interpretation , than to knowingly follow the so -called desert fathers: Augustine, Origen, etc and sorting thru all the resulting amalgam of the idolatry of the Greeks, Romans, Celtic pagan syncretism, Indo Euro deities, spiritism adaptations and whatever else got mixed into our modern Christendom. Thank you brother Jacob for going back to the Hebraic Root of the faith. Coming out of a mixed interfaith mixture of pagan Euro and American Animist shamanistic stuff i really want the Truth. And the closer to the original texts we see how far off the Desert fathers of Christendom got away from the Patriarchal Fathers of the Holy Bible
