The apostle Paul did not make comparison between Jesus Christ as an angel of God without very good reason. Jesus not only describes his own origin at Prov.8:22-30 as being part of creation but also refers to himself there as the master worker beside his Father. He later prayed at John 17:5 to be returned to his former position "with the glory that I had alongside you" (as the master worker) "before the earth was" in perfect harmony with what is described at Prov.8:22-30.

Isaiah 9:6 calls Jesus, 'Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.' Not an Angel, not a messenger. Gal. 4:14 the reference is to his level of treatment from the people. Not a comparison of Jesus to an Angel. Proverbs 8:22-30. The word "before" is used as a time line to indicate his "being" or "existing" before other things. Not created with them. Heb. 1:5-14. Jesus is not an Angel John 3:16. Jesus is "the" only begotten Son, not an Angel FINALLY: If Jesus was begotten, (same material as the Father,) then your saying 'THE FATHER' is an Angel? GOD is not an Angel. So neither is Jesus. They are a different type of spirit being that is greater than all creation.

They have changed the article from "an" to "the" thus changing the meaning. The Complete Jewish Study Bible has an interesting rendition of 1 Thes. 4:16: "For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a rousing cry, with a call from one of the ruling angels, and with God’s shofar; those who died united with the Messiah will be the first to rise; " Also, I realize that although Enoch did not make it into our scriptures it was accepted by Jude at the time of his writing. I looked into Enoch and found this: XX. Name and Functions of the Seven Archangels. CHAPTER XX. "1. And these are the names of the holy angels who watch. 2. Uriel, one of the holy angels, who is over the world and over Tartarus. 3. Raphael, one of the holy angels, who is over the spirits of men. 4. Raguel, one of the holy angels who takes vengeance on the world of the luminaries. 5. Michael, one of the holy angels, to wit, he that is set over the best part of mankind ⌈⌈and⌉⌉ over chaos. 6. What about the Gal. 4:14 argument? Galatians says: "and though my condition was a trial to you, you did not scorn or despise me, BUT received me AS an angel of God, AS Christ Jesus." Some try to say its two contrasting things. However the construction of: "...but as...as" is not used in a contrast by Paul. He is saying the two things are the same thing. 1 Cor 3:1 "Brothers I was not able to speak to you as spiritual people BUT AS fleshly people, AS infants in Christ" [fleshly people= infants in Christ] 2 Cor 2:17 "...BUT in Christ we speak AS persons of sincerity, AS persons sent from God.." [persons of sincerity= persons sent from God] This is the only three times Paul uses this "BUT AS...AS..." construction and its apparent how he uses it. There is evidence for an Angel Christology all over the Christian Greek text!

You cannot base a doctrine on an ambiguous text. Galatians 4:14 can be spoken whether or not Jesus is an angel. If we accept that Jesus is not an angel, we can still express ourselves that way. If I say, "You accepted me as if one sent from God, as Jesus Christ himself." the thought still is valid. Yet you would not think that Jesus is a man because I am one, nor that I am a spirit because Jesus is one.

Beroean Pickets If the text alone is ambiguous, then studying the construction and comparing it to the other texts (as I have done) makes it more clear. At least textual probabilities must be given consideration and Paul's use of the "but as...as" construction makes it more probable than not that Paul speaks of Christ as the Angel of the Lord. And intrinsic evidence in Galatians! You said Galatians 3:9 speaks of "Moses". That's not necessarily true. If you look at FF Bruce commentary on Galatians he (building on Van Hoye) says that the mediator there is an Angel! The party of Angels was headed by a Principal Angel who mediated on behalf of God. Who was this Angelic mediator? D. Hannah in his book "Michael and Christ" hints at the fact that it could be Archangel Michael that met with Moses! (Hannah, being a Trinitarian scholar, later dismisses the idea. But his dismissal is far less convincing than the work Bruce put into the idea itself. He says something like: "Van Hoy's solution is ingenious! Perhaps too ingenious. The mediator may just as well be Moses as to be Michael"... And that's it! Hardly a well argued dismissal) Bruce (in Galatians) says it was like David meeting Goliath. The two individuals representing their respective camps on the battle field- but in this case it was Michael and Moses on Mount Sinai. And instead of combat it was covenant they were seeking. So Galatians isn't as ambiguous as you think.

Rather than interpreting 1 Thessalonians 4:16 as saying that Jesus was *_speaking_* with the voice of an archangel, I think what Paul meant was that he was *_accompanied_* by the voice of an archangel (and a trumpet call).

It may be clear to you, but you are overlooking some facts. If you are a Jehovah's Witness, you must listen and obey the Governing Body to be blessed. Their reasoning on Daniel 12:2 is as follows: * dp chap. 17 p. 291 pars. 9-10 Identifying True Worshipers in the Time of the End * In the Bible, resurrection sometimes has a spiritual significance. For example, both Ezekiel and Revelation contain prophetic passages that apply to a spiritual revival, or resurrection.-Ezekiel 37:1-14; Revelation 11:3, 7, 11. 10 Has there been such a spiritual revival of God’s anointed servants in the time of the end? Yes! It is a historical reality that in 1918 a small remnant of faithful Christians were subjected to an extraordinary attack that disrupted their organized public ministry. Then, against all likelihood, in 1919 they returned to life in a spiritual sense. However, the issue is one of timing. When did this spiritual resurrection occur? My next video will deal with that question.

The WBTS here was obviously speaking FIGURATIVELY in regard to the symbolic "two witnesses" spoken of at Revelation 11:3 and not in the literally sense of the actual resurrection of the dead as spoken of at Dan.12:2, John 5:25, 28, 29, and 1Thess.4:16. Their reasoning with you in regard to the literal resurrection would be the same as mine.....so don't quit your day job!

I cited the Daniel book, chapter 17 p. 291 pars. 9-10 to prove that the organization agrees that Daniel 12:2 speaks of a figurative resurrection. You deny this. If you took the time to read the context carefully, you'd realize that the Organization is explaining that Daniel 12:2 had its fulfillment in 1918/1919. A reasonable witness will see at least that there is not enough evidence to conclude that Michael is Jesus! To add further: Is Michael Only One of Many? Daniel 10:13 is probably the most difficult verse regarding Michael: "But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me." It appears at first glance that Michael is only "one of" the chief princes. This is an unfortunate translation in the King James. The word "one" comes from the Hebrew word "echad," which is also frequently translated as "first," as in the president's wife being called "first lady." (See Genesis 1:5; 8:13.) This changes the whole meaning of the verse to Michael being first of, greatest or highest of, to the chief of princes-again a reference to Jesus. The bible is very clear. There is only ONE voice the dead will hear at the resurrection: John 5:25, 28, 29 "Most truly I say to you, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who have paid attention will live. 28 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life....." Donald: Eric is not deceiving anyone in this matter: Actually the most compelling evidence for me as a witness that Jesus is not Michael, comes from looking at the very context of scriptures that mention him: look at Revelations 12:1-6; and verse 7-12 you'll see a child who is to shepherd the nations with an iron rod.....in verse 6.....how can that child become Michael in verse 7? Or look at the book of Jude and you will that Jude is aware of both the Lord Jesus and Michael who has dispute with with the Devil: did he say that these two are the same?

The holy spirit is God's gift to the faithful. We choose Jesus and show our faith by baptism, and after that the holy spirit comes upon us and guides us into the truth. (John 16:13) So how can we sin against it? We can do that by resisting it, by fighting against it. Look at it this way. I may blaspheme God, but that sin is forgivable. However, I must first repent to be forgiven. If I don't repent, I will not be forgiven. It is the spirit that gives me the power to repent. The father comes to me and extends his hand, but I must grasp it. If I slap it away, what forgiveness remains for me. His hand is the holy spirit. I must accept it to be forgiven, but if I refuse it, if I work against it, I cannot expect to be forgiven.

I would love to add to your very good research. Under the definition of archangel, can it be said that Satan is a archangel because Revelation says Satan and his angels? The JW believes Jesus return to his office of Micheal when he back to heaven. However the scriptures always refer Jesus as himself as depicted in heaven. Johannes Greber is where they got that idea of Michael. The JWs doesn't have confirmation bias. They simply follow the teaching of the GB without question. No matter if it doesn't make sense from a human standpoint. The resurrected is never described as angels.

I disagree. If God didn't send Christ but an angel, for one thing, it would sow that YHWH didn't offer to sacrifice part of Himself, which would mean that Abraham offered up a better sacrifice than Yahweh. Paul also says that "Since by man (Adam) came death, by man also came the resurrection of the dead. An angel could never fit the bill in the first place.

Hi Eric, I absolutely love your delivery in unpacking the truth about JWs. As a witness I always struggled with the teaching that Jesus is Michael the Archangel. The watchtower teaches that angels are not immortal and they are not infallible. But if Jesus was Michael, there may have been a chance that he could sin, like the angel that became satan. I have searched high and low in the scriptures and have yet to find one that reveals that the only exception regarding an angel who is immortal, is Michael, because he is supposed to be Jesus. This makes no sense to me at all.The witnesses also teach that because the name Michael means "who is like God?", this could only refer to Jesus, because he is made in Jehovah’s image. However the angel Gabriel's name means " God is my strength", this could also apply to Jesus in the same manner, if he were indeed an angel. I have started attending Beroean Pickets bible study meetings which I thoroughly enjoy, and I will be getting re-baptised next week. I would suggest that what you have done by saying this is completely eisegesis. 24 like 144 is a multiple of 12. 12 relates to the foundation of God's arrangement on earth ie 12 tribes, 12 apostles. The multiples of 12 in revelation have to do with the same thing, these numbers represent God's arrangement in connection with mankind ie 24 - represents the heavenly kingdom, 144 - represents kingdom heirs whilst still on earth.

Do you see how my mind is troubled? Lastly, Jesus never once said he was angel. Neither did the Demons. Even they identified Jesus as the Son of God: Matt 8:29 "And, look! they screamed, saying: “What have we to do with you, Son of God? Did you come here to torment us before the appointed time? I noticed they didn't scream "And, look! they screamed, saying: “What have we to do with you, Michael? Did you come here to torment us before the appointed time of 1914". They were acknowledging that Jesus had authority to Judge them already. Matt 28:18 " And Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: “All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth." Hi Peter, Frankly, we cannot know who the Angel of the Lord is in Zechariah 3:2. The Bible doesn't say. All we know is that angel in Hebrew means messenger, so the "messenger of the Lord" is the one who is spoke of by Zechariah.

Any sensible person who read Daniel 12 V1 and 2 and compare it to John 5 v 28 and 29 must conclude that both accounts are speaking of the same event and the same person MICHAEL IS JESUS. How else would Michael get the book,(scrolls) if he is not Jesus? Reverlations 5 v 1 to 5 says that Jesus is the only one Worthy to open the book (scrolls) or even look on them .

Actually the most compelling evidence that Jesus is not Michael, comes from looking at the very context of scriptures that mention him: look at Revelations 12:1-6; and verse 7-12 you'll see a child who is to shepherd the nations with an iron rod.....in verse 6.....how can that child become Michael in verse 7?

Hi Eric - Note the order of St George and St Michael. Arch Angel Michael and Dragon, St George and Dragon - blend the two together and the Arch Angel Michael kind of becomes the patron saint of England. Look at Stonehenge - was it really a temple dedicated to Apollo? If so consider the account of Apollo and the Python and see how easy it would be to turn the patron saint of England into the sun god - Apollo. By this, a logic can be made-up saying Jesus, who is really Apollo is the patron saint of England. Hmm. I'm not convinced, are you? :) Now Apollo is a Greek idol/sun god. But the Egyptians also worshipped the sun. I believe they called it the Aten disk. Now, we are back on the subject of Egypt which C T Russell and Piazzi-Smyth (British Israelite) were so interested in. Further, I understand that Sigmund Freud's father (who was a rabbi) taught that Moses came to worship Jehovah because of the Hittites. But Joseph had really been a monotheist, in so far as he was a sun worshipper. Rubbish but clever rubbish. Sigmund Freud's himself used Egyptian idols for his analysis of the human mind. His nephew took his uncle's beliefs and established what we call public relations. Also, a man called Sir Flinders Petrie understood that the idol Horus (associated with the sun), in Egyptian mythology was portrayed as a saviour and identified by a symbol called the Chi-Rho (XP). He knew that some used XP as short-hand for the real saviour Jesus Christ because XP translated from Greek is CHR, short for Christ. Flinders looked into this and considered there was a link between the mythical Horus and Jesus. He noted that on the coinage of the first Pope, Emperor Constantine (who white-washed himself with Christianity for political purposes to save the Roman Empire) there was something called the Laburnum, aka Chi-Rho. The Chi-Rho had a Gnostic serpent underneath it, implying that Constantine was either a Gnostic, or inclined to Gnosticism. If indeed Constantine was a Gnostic, it would mean he considered himself to be enlightened by some sort of so-called 'knowledge' derived from sources other than the Bible. Given XP was also a symbol of Horus, Constantine might have believed that salvation was by Horus. An identical symbol to XP has been found inscribed on rocks dating from 2,500 BC Sumerian, and was interpreted as ‘a combination of the two Sun-symbols’ - symbols of the ancient shining ones, perhaps the original demons, the Nephilim. You may find this interesting too - Pyramid built by Noah C T Russell's belief in the sign of the pyramid most likely came from the Second Adventists. In 1859, John Taylor published The Great Pyramid: Why Was It Built? And Who Built It? He put forward the idea that the architect and supervisor of the Great Pyramid was not an Egyptian but Noah. Other pyramidologists believed it was Melchizedek. Piazzi-Smyth, an astronomer, accepted this idea. In June 1876, he published an article in the Bible Examiner, a journal owned by George Storrs in Brooklyn. George Storrs went on to run a series of articles on the Pyramid and its prophetic significance in the Herald of Life and the Coming Kingdom. In 1877, Joseph Seiss published a book on the pyramid entitled Miracle in Stone. Russell attributed his knowledge on pyramids to Piazzi-Smyth (British Israelite). Oh, by the way my membership of the club down the road came to an end on the Bank Holiday May 27th. I haven't worked out yet who they are. Whoever they are they definitely aren't Jehovah's Witness in the sense that the prophet Daniel was. You know, a faithful descendant of Jacob. The really objected to me holding fast to Daniel's words and suggested they were of a channel that is no longer being used today. Eventually I said to one of them, "Jehovah rebuke you."

In years, I hv been questioning who Jesus is. Why so many religions teaching about Jesus differently? Which one is the truth? Islam, Catholic, Protestant, Mormon, or JW's? Why Jesus is always be a topic. Well, it is because Jesus is the way of the truth (John 14:6) and Satan wants to blur it. Altough, I am still in JW organization (I guess), I hv a doubt about their teaching that Jesus is Michael (an angel, GOD's creation). So, I stop to be an announcer or join any congregation. I want to free my mindset. Now, a little bit I can receive a concept about who is GOD and Jesus. It is like this. There is a man who lives in a small town A. He is so intelligent, kindness, he has so many brilliant ideas, hard worker, has best advices, he likes to help people, etc. His neighbors really love and trust him. Because the way he talks and doing his works prove that he his a wise person. He is so famous among his neighborhood. However, he wants to help more people. What is he going to do? He makes books, videos or records his voices to spread his knowledge, experiences, lessons, ideas, advices, etc to town and other cities. People who does not know that man (never met him face to face) will know who he is through his books or cassettes. They will agree, indeed, he is an intelligent and a wiseman. If the man just send his assitant, of course not all knowledges can be shared totally. Always there is something missing about the teaching. Contain of their mind is different. Because the assistant is not the man. The assitant does not know the deepest thought of that man. I imagine Jesus is like the book and the cassette. Jesus is not GOD's assitant. Jesus is the Word of GOD who came to the world in form human body. GOD is not creates his word. His word is not Michael who first created. His word is already there with GOD (John 1:1) so does His spirit. His word and his spirit is one with Father. Father is the source. Can we see the word of GOD? No, it is always in GOD's mind. Who knows GOD's mind? GOD Himself. To be visible GOD sent His word to be a human Jesus. So people at the time can see GOD through Jesus (John 14:9). The way Jesus talks and works is a reflection of GOD. So, it feels that GOD himself talks/ teach/ and redeem us. It is related to other names of Jesus; Imanuelle; GOD with us. GOD is not send other person (in this case Michael) to be his assistant to deliver His words or to be our saviour. In Rome 11:34, only GOD himself who know his mind. Only GOD is our saviour (Hosea 13:4).

The leading Christologist, a Harvard prof, came to a Barnard NT class to lecture about Arians and very small groups for two hours. I was a grad already, slipped in just to see what was happening. After class I approached him privately and asked if he had any insights about WT theology and how my ancestors in respected Trinitarian churches could be attracted to WT. He said they are not Arian or Unitarian. Unitarians were a potent force at Harvard. He said he was so stumped about how they equste Jesus with Michael. I wrote one term paper on the Historical Jesus. Mostly tracing Son of Man theories. WT never told me resources were available. A Ivy secular college encouraged me to read scripture. WT ordered me to read only it. Raymond Brown is a good source for NT Christology. Tried to learn Koine Greek, but insist on fluency in French first. Why have the GB not learned Hebrew and Koine Greek in detail? I commented on this video two years ago about Galatians 4:14 and how it pointed to Christ as the Angel of JHVH. Jude 9, actually does a good job as making this point as well! There Michael uses the formula of the Angel of the Name (Zech 3:2) If Michael is the Angel of the Name then he is also Wisdom-Word of the Hebrew Bible and John 1 tells us that the Word [logos] is Christ.

Here are some verses that Confirm Jesus is God: Isaiah 9:6 For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Psalms 102: 25 -27 talks about God the Father and this same verse is found in the new testament when is talking about Jesus...Hebrews 1:6-8. If you are truly saved, you will be set free from all that is oppression you, addictions, deppression, etc. That can only come from the true Christ and yielding your heart. You do become a new creation and you must renew your mind by feeding on the Word of God. Our minds want to go back to what we were. That's is why is so important to read the bible and learn what it means to be made in the image of God. We are meant to become like Christ and that is an impossible task if you don't have the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of the Lord will enable you to walk with Christ

Those versus in hebrews by Paul are the ones I use and think they are the sledge hammer that smashes the "Jesus was an angel before his birth" or "Jesus is now an angel back in heaven". Its like Paul knew exactly what was going to be said about Jesus and nipped it right in the bud with those statements. The Lord decends with the shout of the Archangel, Michael is the only named Archangel in scripture... Jesus was not Devine in his prehumen existence (see Phil 2:9-11). Angel is just a title with various responsibilities and power. Compare this to General, Captain, Private in the military. They all have various ranks, authority and power that is delegated to them. They are all human. Heavenly beings are all spiritual with various levels of responsibilities.

Eric, you backed up to Hebrews 1:2, but left out a very important verse - 1:3! The first part of that verse says that Jesus is "the radiance of His (God's glory and the EXACT REPRESENTATION of His nature. (NASB)" The Greek word there is character, which is only used here in the NT, but is used in the Septuagint (Greek OT) in Lev. 13:28 for the scar of a burn. I would think of that as somewhat similar to a brand made by a branding iron on cattle. No creature is the exact representation of God!. The reason that Jesus is spoken of as having become better than the angels, it's not because he once was one of them, but because of His voluntarily assumed nature as a human (Philippians 2:6-11), and because He was a man, He was already in the position of being LOWER than the angels (Psalm 8:5). He became better than the angels because of His physical resurrection and His ascension to Heaven and His having been seated with His Father (Ephesians 1:19,20). The whole context and theme of the book of Hebrews is "Christ is greater than" the angels, Aaron, Melchizedek, etc.

Great study on the Michael NOT being Jesus BUT you did go on to mention that the 24 thrones in heaven are angels/archangels because this was John 1900 years ago and can't represent saints. The 24 thrones with elders is typically seen as the raptured saints and not angels because they are depicted with crowns which are given to saints. Thanks for sharing those thoughts. I would suggest however that to say that "crown" can only apply to Jesus and the anointed overlooks the fact that it is a symbol of rulership. There is no moral element to the word. You have the majesty of Christ's rulership represented by the word, but also the wickedness of Satan's rulership is described using the same word. (Compare Re 19:12 with Re 13:1) Therefore, the crowns the 24 elders are wearing simply demonstrate that they are rulers, but it doesn't detail what they rule over. Certainly, if human kings can wear crowns, why not archangels? (For further research, check out: biblehub.com/hebrew/5850.htm) Revelation 4:4 doesn't depict a future coronation. It just states "Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones were twenty-four elders, clothed in white garments, with golden crowns on their heads."

Regarding the time setting of Revelation 4 you say it does not depict the future yet the passage starts with the time stamp of what will be revealed: Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. (hereafter being future). I can only rely on the scriptures as to the timing which is why I present them here. The scriptures are provided in my past comment as well so your conclusion that it is not future would have to be illuminated with scripture if you would as that is the basis for truth. _ On the matter of crowns I have provided the scriptures below which certainly represent the saints receiving crowns. That is not to say that Jesus does not have crowns but the elders (can angels be elders?) lay their crowns at the feet of Jesus as an act of worship. Rulership is certainly given to the saints according to scripture. Is it your understanding that this is not so? Just some points with scriptures which lead me to believe what I have stated in my previous comment. I must differ based on what I glean from the scriptures. The scriptures below clearly show the elders singing a new song saying "for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation." This is not in question that the elders must be redeemed church age saints (not mentioned after 7 church's). Another point of difference between us which the scriptures clearly reveal is that these same saved (redeemed REV5) are seen in heaven before REV 7 where you mention the saints are clothed in white. You see the REV5 redeemed saints have been already caught up (2Thess2) and are in heaven then later the tribulation saints REV7 are shown who would die (beheaded) for their faith. - Would love to see scriptures which would show how my understanding does not bear scrutiny. You're speaking of a coronation, i.e., crowns being given to saints. But in my reading of Revelation 4:4, the elders already have crowns, crowns they received at some point in the past. So while Revelation 4:4 depicts a future event, it does not depict a coronation. Therefore, saying that it is future--something I agree with--doesn't prove that these 24 elders represent saints. If it said that the 24 elders were given crowns and that their white garments were washed in the blood of the lamb, that would indicate they are the saints, but since they are seen to already possess both crown and white garment, and since the saints are depicted in this particular vision, not sitting on thrones, but standing in front of them, I feel that the 24 elders must depict something other than the saints. I also gave you scriptures showing that crowns are warn by humans, demons, demonic metaphors, and the saints, so showing that the saints wear crowns does not prove that the 24 elders are saints. Finally, one of the elders is seen talking to John (Re 5:5), so while the event pictured in the vision is future, in John's present (96 C.E.) one of the elders (present, not future) is talking to him about the future vision. Anyway, the whole thing is symbolic, so we cannot be dogmatic about things. I'm just going with what to me is the more consistent and harmonious conclusion. If you feel differently, that's cool. Very strong explanation about Jesus not being an archangel. My only point is that explanation from 1 Thess.4 isn't strong enough, as you still try to convince that its the Jesus's voice of archangel Michael. Its not, according to many translations Jehovah would use Michael an archangel to announce Jesus's descendant process - Michael's own voice would accompany his descendant, exact same way when earthly presidents enter into the large gathering rooms its not them that announce it but someone else always lesser than the president himself and it is usually accompanied with music and even trumpet one. So my point is that when bible speaks about with the voice of Michael it doesn't mean that it is Jesus's voice but it would be announced by an archangel Michael. Thanks for your hard work.

Sir Daniel 12:1 says Michael is the one who delivers “thy people”, because you fail to read verse 2 you think Michael is not Jesus but notice what verse 2 states “and many that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake” obviously by Michael and as 1 Thessalonians 4:16 says to the voice of the Archangel. Intellectually honest. Thanks for your work in exposing an organization where scripture is twisted to fit a particular theology. I've had numerous visits from JWs and whenever I bring up Hebrews 1, they begin to pack their bags and leave - they simply cannot answer that chapter!!! I had one lady answer it only by presenting Proverbs 8:22 stating that it describes the creation of Jesus by Jehovah. However, according to Hebrew scholars it says no such thing. First of all, the chapter starts off with the topic of "Wisdom" and how it is likened to a woman. Later, any pronouns (such as 'me') are in the feminine, so if true, Jesus is referred to as a female. The word used is sometimes "created" in v22, but the KJV uses the term "possessed" to mean God possessed Wisdom from the very beginning. Amazing how they hang on a tiny verse to try get away with a major theological point.

It doesn't say that Jesus is an archangel. There was "a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God". Daniel 3:28 says, "Nebuchadnezzar declared, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent His angel and delivered His servants who trusted in Him...". There is no mention of an archangel in this account. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego weren't dead and had no need for resurrection.

Hiding verses I see you missed Acts 5:30-31 where it states Jesus as the prince of israel now is not Michael the prince of Israel and what is a prince, a prince is the Son of a king (God) making michael and the other chief Princes sons of God like it is written in the book of Genesis 6:2-7 when the sons of God came and took themselves daughters of Men and gave birth to nephilims and giants!The promised Saviour is called by ( Daniel 9:25 ) "Messiah the Prince" (Heb. nagid); compare Acts 3:15 ; 5:31 . The angel Micheal is called ( Daniel 12:1 ) a "prince" (Heb. sar, whence "Sarah," the "princes"). This word occurs quite frequently in our English Bible, mostly in the Old Testament. While it is never used to denote royal parentage (compare 1 Chronicles 29:24), it often indicates actual royal or ruling power, together with royal dignity and authority. As a rule, the name is given to human beings; in a few instances it is applied to God and Christ, the angels and the devil. In Matthew 2:6 the word rendered "princes" might be translated "princely cities"; at least, this seems to be implied. Here the term hegemon, "leader," "ruler," "prince," is used, undoubtedly to hint at the fact that Bethlehem was the native city of a great prince. Thank you for this video..I have someone on my job , member of JW. We work together and on one day he gave me the yellow book. I had to examen. Yesterday we had a discussion on the item that Michael was Jesus..This is absurd to believe, and there are more false statements in the book.. He became angry..Yet,he had ask me to read the book and speak my thoughts about the content..Now he wants the book back..( and will give it to someone who does appreciate what is written in.. Sorry i said..a gift is a gift..It's mine..no thinking of returning the book..

@ approx 8.34 you mention one of the 24 elders is seen talking to John approx 1900 years ago. However, I believe you have overlooked the fact that 1) this is a vision and 2) John was seeing these events unfold, not in his era but had been taken forward - by inspiration - to be in the Lord's day.

Good lesson on 24 elders with crowns. As JW teach these were the anointed 144000 resurrected, the clearness shown is they have existed before these men bought from the earth, so they can not be the same. Wish the witnesses would put reason in their acceptance of scripture instead of blindly follow men's teachings.
