How about showing us how to make a simple 8th or 16th note repetition with the arp.. still can't figure out how to do it.. everything about this arp is like WE HAVE DRUMS!!!!!!!! I don't care about drums or preload patterns. This was really easy on the triton ...

I'm still looking for a vid that demonstrates how to use the sequencer from scratch using selected sound patches. Every vid or tutorial online always go straight in and they select 'combi mode' or some other mode that's filled with patches/programs/arps etc..... How hard can it be to just demonstrate using the step sequencer from a blank page? I'm still on the fence in buying the nautilus cause I want to be sure I can create from scratch using the drums and sounds I want. Not from pre selected set ups.

I think he’s intuitive with showing basic vital info on how to use the nautilus. Some instruments is not for everyone. Knowing the technology can help a lot. Understanding it will help get things done. I have no problem didn’t need the manual to play this instrument program n combi sequencer and arp. Korg introduced this instrument with 9 sound engine if you know the past and present sound engines and familiar with them then you should be at home with the nautilus. It’s a very powerful keyboard for those that have at least use one of these engines. Out the box I jump right in and started playing sequencing programming creating drum tracks and musical arpeggios without the use of the manual I’m not bragging. It’s a good idea to learn the basic arp from the vintage keys back years ago and the new arp technique will become comprehensible.

It is very powerful-and complex. Previous to this I had only used software sequencers, or in the very beginning the very simple Alesis hardware sequencer circa 1980s. If you have any tips on creating drum tracks, I'm all ears. Its obvious the capability is there, but getting there seems to be a little convoluted.

Are we Kronos users going to get the polyphonic arpeggiator? If it's like the one in the Triton/Z1 it would be more immediate for editing than KARMA, which is deep but requires a computer for editing. Thanks!

At first I was disappointed it didn't have the karma. I just assumed it would and it was kind of unique and did some really cool things but now that I've adjusted to the new arpeggiator and drum being separated I think is a much easier way to do it then with Karma where there isn't quite as much distinction between arpeggiation on instruments and arpeggiation on drums. But that's why it did some very unique things that you're not going to hear on the Nautilus but overall the Nautilus sounds are more realistic, and achieve a better separation you don't hear on the karma.

Nice work Korg ! ... Congratulations to all company workers for all the years of innovative thinking, good sensitivity and practical solutions. The NAUTILUS is like the mysterious boat of the wise Nemo ... 1 - Next time, please do a recording of the video manual, putting the instruments sound, a bit louder. Because Mr McNally's voice BOOMS, while the instrument squeaks unclearly. 2 - OK, the video manual's purpose is not to demo the instrument's sound, BUT it sounds like a cheap instrument, in those seconds of exemplifying various features. 3 - Moreover, when the finger touches a command, it should preferably be only AFTER the explanation of that command, not before, done in a haste. This would help us to easier follow the explanation. As an example, at minute 2:40 : "Select the scene you want" ... Then the finger touches a command ... Next, the words : "And touch here to access the edit page" ---> and I'm waiting to see the "touch where" move, that never comes ... I needed to watch again to realize that the finger touches BEFORE the words : "touch here" ---> and it should have been AFTER the words : "touch here" - for our ease of understanding. I'm pointing at this, because, in other moments in the video, the finger DOES go to the command AFTER the "touch here" words.

Very nice, but when I recording in Logic Pro with my Korg Nautilus, the midi information doesn't play back the drum midi information. Could you tell me what I am doing wrong? I love your videos!

It's amazing how much you guys keep missing the boat entirely, in certain regards. This is a weak, third rate excuse for a drum sequencer- especially in 2020. Just add a piano roll. You know, like you had in the M3, and in Krome. It's amazing, really. A decade into Kronos, three iterations, and now the Nautilus, and Korg still fumbles the ball in the drum sequencing department.
