There was a film made based on the series but Leslie Phillips was the only one of radio cast to appear. According to Jon Pertwee, other cast members including the original no 1 Dennis Price were intended to appear but the producer refused to allow Price to appear as he was homosexual. Pertwee claims he wasnt used because he raised objections to Price being omitted.
