Jocko Willink isn’t the biggest guy out there….but there’s just something about him that makes you wary about getting on his bad side. Jonny Kim is likely the top 1% of all individuals in terms of intelligence and has the personality to match. Marcus’s story is incredible and he has more determination than 5 people combined. Rob is the guy who just looks calm under any amount of pressure. Amazing warriors all around!

It's sad to hear that certain individuals that are ex seals have started to tarnish the reputation of the teams it doesn't just make them look bad but the whole regiment Rob o Neil has made a biiiiig mistake claiming that kill of Osama he should have been proud enough just serving his country and being a seal it's a shame the guy was so highly decorated and clearly a good operator so I don't understand why he would ruin his legacy for 10;mins of fame luckily there are guys like Andy and Johnny who are humble genuine American hero's who respect their service and unit and continue to serve their country with pride and honesty all the best to you guys in the American services from a Scottish ex serviceman keep up the good work guy's

Respect for all. But Robs account of the mission to find and kill OBL has been torn to pieces. People saying he wasn't the first shooter that a guy who is still serving actually killed OBL and that Rob was apart of what they call a pile on shooting and that Rob was 4th man and put 2 in his head which isnt what operators do especially when they want a clear identification. Also other ST6 members have other accounts and or dont corroborate Robs story. Im not saying its all true but theres alot of people saying his story is false and alot of people accounts of that whole mission are totally different from his.

My life is very bland compared to these men - and I'm so grateful because they are the ideal of what it is to be a man and to be an American. During the time of the war on terror, my two kids grew up and went to college. Many of our very best never got that chance so that I could. Our personal politics don't matter. There will always be a time when dangerous men must do dangerous things during dangerous times. We - well, I - owe it to them to live an honorable, truthful, and full life worthy of their decision to love liberty and country more than life.

Jonny Kim is too humble. He said he wasn’t a stellar performer at BUDs but other members in that class clearly recall him blowing the competition away as a matter of fact they say they horribly underestimated him. Jonny Kim is a complete badass and closest you’ll ever get to a real life superhero

I had just gotten to ST5 when Osama went bye bye. I was a member of combat support. There were some people at the command that left to go "train" or whatever a couple weeks before it went down. The team guys were always going to DEVGRU for one reason or another. As combat support I would like to think I had a miniscule part of the successful completion of any mission. That is what made me happy. Best duty station in my 20 years in the Navy.

I still plan to create veteran's parks. Volunteer vets will be paid and live free under program. Contractor apprentices will be paid and live onsite. Camp host each camp. Cooks stew, gives fruit Etc. SEAL Teams were not organized at the suggestion of JFK. They existed way before that period and were known as UDT (Underwater Demolition Teams). It is known that JFK was pushing for non-conventional warfare and was a HUGE fan of green berets. Ben Milligan wrote a great book about the SEAL Teams (By Water Beneath the Walls).

My understanding is that he commissioned the SEAL Teams 1 and 2 and recruited from UDT in order to have a special operations force with full access to naval technology and transportation that had the autonomy to accept or deny their own missions instead of being forced to engage in missions that were dictated by politicians that they may not have agreed with. In layman’s terms: army infantry doesn’t get to say no to a mission or an objective. The SEALs can.
