Curry is truly one of the best players in NBA history. As a raptors fan, he was terrifying back in 2019. If that dynasty was healthy back then, I don’t know if we would have won and I lean towards us losing. 2022 was truly incredible and cemented why the warriors under Curry are a historic team that deserves to be remembered for a very long time.

@eduardoreyes2128Ай бұрын
Fair play to the Raptors, too. But Klay was just about to hit his prime before the injury. Curry proved that he can win without KD, and with a Klay who's a shell of himself. Imagine a Curry and Klay, both in their prime, leading another STRENGTH IN NUMBERS team. That's why I feel for Klay the most. He's already had such a decorated career at that point but it's as if the "better" half of his career was taken away from him.

I’m a Lakers fan, but even I have to admit, this was one of the most satisfying championships ever. Steph proving all the haters and “sports analysts” wrong. Gotta love Steph’s early celebrations too. his confidence doesn’t even come off as cocky or annoying like other players; it’s warranted and looks super cool. It reminds me of when Klay said he guessed LeBron just got his feelings hurt, LeBron laughed it off and just said “okay”. Then led the 3-1 comeback against the 73 win Warriors. That type of confidence is next level, and only a handful of players in NBA history can pull off antics like that and back it up. I’d say the list is just: - MJ - Larry Bird - Steph - LeBron - Kobe Other all time greats probably could too, but they didn’t have the personality or character of these guys; these guys have the persona and charisma to do these celebrations/comments before even winning and they can back it up
@Fail84-nv7qhАй бұрын
Looking back, the Celtics needed these finals to get the experience needed to deal with the big lights of the finals. They used said experience they got from these finals to go berserk against their 2024 playoff opponents.

No no no that can’t be it, 23-24 featured all the worst teams in NBA history and that’s why the Celtics steamrolled everyone. I remember this finals. It was heading into my weeks last couple weeks of uni and having to study so much for my own finals - but I just remember thinking about how much I REALLY wanted Steph, Klay, Dray and Iggy to get this ring together. It was essentially the O.G crew of the mid-late 2010s + JP/Wig. 2022 Finals made me fall in love with the Warriors. The 2 seasons before 2022, the chatter and scrutiny they were put under was CRAZY. Everyone that doubted them gave them their flowers, I forget which analysts they were but they said how wrong they were, how much they doubted them, but then beautifully, admitted they were glad they were wrong.
@dontrellmayfieldjr2868Ай бұрын
For me that 2022 Golden State Warriors is arguably the best championship of the dynasty Over the last 3 seasons, the media say something negative against them .. and they were saying, the dynasty is over, they can’t win without KD But the Warriors heard all the things they’ve been through from the injuries and COVID-19 .. until 2022 Golden State Warriors once again and reclaim the NBA championship and also Steph Curry finally wins his first FMVP. but I will argue He should’ve been a 2-time finals MVP. Steph Curry is completely underrated.. greatest shooter ever greatest PG ever and he deserved to be respected .. I think 2022 finals is by far the best of the decade right next to 2021 finals
@kelvscarlАй бұрын

KD only got the 2017 and 2018 FMVP because of Curry’s gravity. KD was never doubled, sometimes wide open during those Finals. Multiple Cavs players later came out saying their game plan was Curry, not KD. Even with all that, Curry stats nearly matched KD. IMO, Curry should’ve been 2015, 2018, and 2022 FMVP. I’m not glazing either, he’s not even my fave player, but I recognize greatness.

Same. After Run TMC there was some hope (short lived) with Webber and Sprewell. Then over a decade later there was the We Believe squad who just missed a repeat playoff appearance by one game. 2013 was a glimpse at how great Curry could be. 2014 without Bogut no way could they beat the Clippers. Then 2015 Kerr and the emergence of Draymond and MVP Curry lit the whole league on fire. It’s been a wild and entertaining ride.
