I think what people don't notice is that nothing much would've changed if GS capped off the 2016 Finals with the chip, might've even won in 5-6 games if it weren't for injuries to GS. I could argue that even if Cleveland doesn't win the championship, as long as GS was dethroned, it would've changed the entire NBA landscape. In such a high pressure game, against THAT team on THAT court, you ABSOLUTELY had to keep that game close at all times. 10 point deficit would have felt like 100.
