Anthony Davis just came out and sent a clear message to the NBA…
No more soft basketball, no more taking games off & no more injuries
He’s be in the gym all off season and is looking like he’s ready to dominate the entire league
But are these just words or can he actually back up the MVP predictions?

Sorry, I got too excited about the game in the reaction with AD, my prediction is if they can stay healthy and implement all the new players in and in during the season, I would like to see them get to a fifth seed maybe fourth seed not playing in the playing tournament. But I don’t see them winning the title. Maybe win one series it would be nice to see them get to the Western Conference finals. But to meet us a longshot.

People need to realize that the game speed has increased dramatical. I always has felt that in not really the slower physical basketball from the 80-90's (with exceptions to some post play) is not really the reason for most injuries. It's the sprinting, awkward landings, change of motion, and fighting through screens which is a lot more taxing on the human body. We have watched the transitions of the greats such as Kobe Bryant's production fall of a cliff near the end of his career because of the new playing style. It's a bit annoying hearing about how soft the league is when Lebron has literally played against the legends such as Kobe, Pierce and McGrady that believe they would be scoring 40 plus points a night in today's league. This league is at a extremely fast pace, and everybody is extremely athletic. When you can't play your best , you are quickly forgotten like the Kemba Walkers and Isaiah Thomas's.

Correction. Stockton played every game in 17 out of 19 seasons. 82 games for 16 seasons and 50 games in a strike year. He missed a total of 22 games in his career. Even if AD were to play all 82 games, he could still be playing hurt at times and not able to play that great at times plus depending on the injury even if it was something minor, there's still the chance something could happen and cause a major injury. Also, if AD is playing heavy min's or close all season, he might not be as fresh for the playoffs. I think if he does play in all 82 games, I bet back-to-back or certain games there going to limit his min's severely.

Just like if he was 6'2", being 4 inches taller than me, and had a similar skillset to mine I wouldn't be scared of him. People like you who think professional athlete's are all scared of each other when literally none of them are are hilarious. Comparing regular citizens to professional athletes makes absolutely zero sense. Anthony Davis would be scared to fight Jon Jones in MMA more than I would be playing against Davis this moment. Henry hoops, good commentary, good analysis. I am a Lakers fan and I don’t even believe that. Him playing 82 games. So they got a loophole for LeBron. Well, he can still score but he don’t play no defense. Last night was opening first game of the season 80 said all of this because he has a new contract Three years at 186 million. He just got roasted by. Nikola Jokic again after they start talking trash before the season opener, which was in Denver, which is ring night. They just got roasted. so they can see whatever they want to say. They can’t beat Denver if there’s no injuries in Denver. There are better teams out there than the Lakers. Let me know I like some of the additions that they made. If they depend on LeBron and A.D., they will not be in the finals.

Yeah alotta comments in here after 1 bad game in a 82 game season lol. But I agree with you. My question for this video was can AD be an MVP caliber player and why or why not. I concluded that he can't for a number of reason BUT that doesn't mean he can't be a top 5 center and help the Lakers win games. Remember that win share per 48 stat? I don't see the Lakers winning a championship against a healthy Denver, Phoenix or Bucks team. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! P. S. Watching Nikola Jokic (an actual 2x MVP) Destroy the Lakers is always shocking because his play style is sooo different. Dude looks like he's not trying while averaging a triple double. LOL

I'd rather have players managing their load than getting 82 from them and having short careers. I have a lot of respect for Mamba but his drive to average 40mins on his final few games cost him his career.
