Whatever you want to say about them they lost to the championship team and was the only team that won 2 games against them in a playoff series with injuries to that team so that version of the sun's was pretty much equal to the previous sun's that lost to the bucks in 6 games The nets went from the #2 seed with KD to a lottery team without him the season they traded for bridges and cam. They went from a top 5 defense to a bottom 10 defense. With KD the nets were about 29-12 and then he got hurt Kyrie went 5-10 without KD and asked out. Then cam and bridges joined the nets and lost like 60% of their games but made the playoffs because KD had won them basically 30 games out of the first 41. Then KD gets traded to the sun's but is injured at the start. The sun's have a bad stretch of basketball where they go like 3-9 without KD and when KD joins they don't lose a regular season game for the rest of the season. It was only 8 to 11 regular season games but with KD they didn't lose any. I know how kd impacts winning because I have followed his career. Know that he had 2 starters injured in every playoff run from 2021-2023 Lost to the championship team 2 times and had the team that won most games against them in a series while having his teams hurt. The sun's this season suck without him. Largely because KD is that good but also because they were stupid and created a poor roster construction when they traded for beal and nurkic. Without KD the sun do not have a single player that does more than 1 thing really well. That's why they are 1-9 without him this season

As of now -joker is the best player, he is absolutely going insane! Only thing holding him back is this would be his fourth mvp and unless his stats are miles ahead of everyone else and Denver has a top three record im not sure voters will give him another. -Tatum, shouldn’t be in this conversation. -Luka is having a slow start (for him at least) -SGA is playing pretty good, and from what I’ve seen is the closest to joker. He is one of the best scorers in the entire league, top three. He is making all the right reads, and he is by far the best two way player in the mvp conversation rn. If joker is miles ahead of everyone he will win it, but if it’s close it’ll probably go to SGA or Luka if he kicks it up some.
