I have never had a NDE but somewhere around 2012, I was having a rather difficult time in life. My brother had died November 30, 2012 and it was tough for me losing my brother. I knew I needed a hug from my mother. She died in January 2006. I just asked if she could give me a hug. I wasn't expecting what would happen. I was surround by warm (not hot) but warm nurturing yellow/white light and she was hugging me with her whole body surrounding me in love. There are no words for what I experienced, but I shall never forget it. It changed my life, but many things have before and after that. I love hearing your story and I love your paintings.

Wow Susan! I had a similar experience after my two month old baby passed away three years ago! This is the first time I’ve heard anyone experience something so similar to me. About three days after she died, I was laying in bed asking how I was going to survive and go on without my baby. I was contemplating suicide at the moment not because I wanted to end the suffering but just because I wanted to be with my baby again. My husband was next to me sleeping. When it happened, my eyes were closed, crying, when all of a sudden I felt this warm beautiful yellow/white light touch me. I think it touched my right shoulder though I felt it throughout my body. The light radiated through my body and healed my soul from the pain and grief I was suffering from. Not completely but so much so that I was able to go on and have two more children. I’ll never forget this moment. It lasted for maybe 5 seconds but I wanted it to last forever. I didn’t want to open my eyes because I was afraid it would stop. I just want to experience it again. I don’t know if it was an angel - mine or my deceased child’s, or something else. I really wish I knew who it was and who sent them. Thank you for sharing your story. It’s incredibly validating for me.

My father wasn't a very nice man. He was verbally and emotionally abusive. One day as I was folding laundry I thought about how shocked he must have been during his "life review" to realize how terribly wounding his abuse was to me, my mother and my sisters--and even to my brother who had Down Syndrome. As I was thinking about this it felt like a warm blanket wrapped itself around me. I perceived that he was apologizing to me for the harm he'd caused. After that experience I felt like I was healed (for the most part, but I'm still dealing with issues he caused). I don't feel hatred towards him anymore. I can now talk about what happened during my childhood but it feels objective and neutral instead of painful and traumatic.

Most of my life in this world, I've suffered from mental illness! Not being able to hold down a job, ignorant people making a fool of you, and all the other crap you have to put up with of being ill. To know from watching this video, that when you die, you go to something better than this! No more suffering, just Love!
