This is how we get our food on our resort in Alaska....a huge THANK YOU to our shoppers who do multiple loads to Costco to get all of our food for us!

There’s no Costco for hundreds of miles in eastern Montana/WY, it’s very normal for people to drive 200-300 miles to ours, and stock up for 1-3 months. The Plain Folk in Montana are mostly Hutterite, who do drink alcohol, but occasionally a non-local happens to see what appear to be Amish young men loading up a hauling trailer with beer, and driving a big ol’ truck.

The whole reason I don’t shop at a Costco is because they don’t label what’s down the aisle like grocery stores do. I’m not a healthy specimen, so my energy wains rather quickly having to run up and down isles only to not find what I need.
