I do a very different approach. I free handed the shoulder without a reference drawing because I suck at drawing. But now my elbow is almost the same size as my shoulder but like 0.08 cm smaller. Not great. Edit:oops I commented on the wrong part

I don't think selling these would ever be a viable idea, It takes a lot of time to make one and so they'd have to be priced way higher than what I would consider reasonable for it to be worth selling one. I will make my own website one day though, thanks for your comment :)

Even so PaperPatriot you must realize that you do have a bit of a following and people love the novelty and creativity of these. With the proper networking, you could even potentially sell these at conventions as well. Website is a great idea though 😎

I'm trying to be more consistent, thanks for noticin! yeah I know what you mean, you want them to retract and extend? hmmmm tough to explain, I have an idea for it but don't know if it will work or how to explain it. I do want to make a wolverine so I will definitely show it then. But basically I would have them slide into a tube of paper or something, and those tubes of paper be stuck inside the forearm. So make the blades first, then wrap some paper tightly around them so it can slide back and forth, I would do something like that.

uhh don't expect it to be perfect, and don't think it has to be the last time you make the character. you'll get anaother chance to make more so dont worry if it doesn't turn out the way you expected, and just accept for what it is and learn from it. That's what I tell myself everytime I make something

then it would just be a plastic toy like anything else, not unique at all. And you can't draw on plastic like you can paper, which I think makes characters look more accurate to there animated counterparts. And of course it just wouldn't be fun.
