I always loved old Necro. I ordered I Need Drugs, Sexorcist, What’s Wrong With Bill and a couple others directly from Necro’s site back in the day when they dropped. They came shipped obviously as Necro stated directly from his crib and packaged with NY Times newspaper. As a young teenager and graffiti writer from Canada, I thought it was so dope getting these CD’s from NY, a place I’ve always dreamed of visiting… anyways, I kinda grew out of Necro’s music and actually thought he was a little played out, but after watching this interview- truly, Necro is probably one of the few rappers that stay true to their style and he seems like a really stand up dude… I might not fuck with his newer music, but his old tracks still hit me with that nostalgic feeling and I got nothing but respect for a dude that stays real.

Is Trying To Kill Me, Push It To The Limits, Say Goodbye To Tomorrow" and so many more! Hes definitely a niche hip hop artist....majority of your average music listeners whouldnt get it or be into it....same with Jedi Mind Tricks, Demigodz, Army Of The Pharaohs, Heavy Metal Kings. But I like it that way! It's an acquired taste people who tend to like extreme things, like gory horror movies, Death Metal & Thrash, Underground Hip Hop!

Dope interview, Necro isn't lying. I live In Perth, western Australia and I actually witnessed Necro and Mr Hyde beatdown some dude from the crowd live on stage. The time he mentions in this interview where he broke some dudes jaw was when he came on his 2nd tour and the show got cancelled because he had a fight with some dude in the street. Legit Legend!

"Unmarketable" bullshit. Horror is a huge genre in any medium, but only mediocre horror is promoted so the standard stays low & easy for the industry pimps. This is true for all forms of entertainment.

Adam should bring Cage on for sure. Necro and Cage were two of the best MC's in the late 90's early 00's. They never got enough recognition.
@JavierFOrdonez2 жыл бұрын
@@grabys447 I agree. Having Cage on for a long format in depth interview would be SO interesting. Especially if he does his homework and touches on everything. The unmade biopic of Cage’s life and times at Stoney Lodge, his friendship with Shia Lebeouf, his beef with Eminem, his transition from drugged out horror core-esque lyrics to more Emo stuff, his relationship with Daryl Palumbo and F. Sean Martin, his time with Mighty Mi, his Def Jux years, etc. etc. etc.

One of the more genuine interviews I've seen on the platform. Seen recently that Adam said he doesn't think he'll interview larger known rappers, but who says the fans want a Jay Z pod anyway? I mean, sure, if it happens, dope. But we remember him for Pouya and Florida rappers at first. Why not delve deeper into the orgins of what made this pod great anyway? By interviewing new, fresh talent and underground legends? If the formula works, why change it?
