I have three reed organs. I recently picked up this amazing Bell made in around 1907, and it has 17 stops with 272 reeds. It is a really powerful instrument, I love it so much. I have two esteys, one is an 11 stop with 1 whole and 2 split rank. And I have a really tiny estey that I use for parts, that only has 2, four octave ranks. I love these instruments so much.

Thank you for sharing a glimpse into the world of reed organs! These instruments were a staple for worship and home entertainment in their heyday, and the average person would have been well acquainted with them. They were an integral part of our nation's history, and they are worthy of our attention today. In fact (I was surprised to learn), many popular artists and bands of the last 60 years have utilized reed organs in their recordings! Thanks again for sharing! 🙂🎹

These are beautiful instruments! How wonderful that they are being preserved for people to hear! More people need to hear (and love) them!

Thanks for posting this! I attended Esteyfest but was unable to go see the Phoenix organ collection. Your video allowed me to sort of do that.
