I agree with Ben Habib on this but would like to have known Nigel Farage's reaction to his comments and whether Nigel has given a commitment to democratising the party at any time in the near future as they must surely have discussed it. We are only getting one side of the story here.

Nigel said it before the GE, he didn't have time to do it and run an election campaign at the same time. I think Ben is trying to sound like he has a pivotal role but to be blunt he was democratically rejected so he's starting to sound bitter. Professionalism and democratising decisions require decisions by those who were democratically elected not by those that were rejected. If Ben keeps this up he should be sacked as you would be in any other company and you slog off he company.

@@Elizabeth-jd3mn I think Ben should have kept it in house and not gone public. I don't think he will be sacked as since he has been replaced I'm not sure he even holds an official position within the party . I was surprised that he wasn't elected as Wellingborough voted 62% to leave in 2016. Maybe in the light of subsequent events they may start to regret their decision.

I have much respect for Ben, however, I think he should put party first before dare I say it, having a dent to his ego. Reform doesn't need bad publicity, which of course its getting and this doesn't help. My understanding is that Nigel is democratising the party. It makes sense to me that Richard Tice is made deputy leader as he is now a mp. I hope for the sake of all of us without a voice, you can sort your problems out, in private.

I don't think they need Ben slagging them off. In any other organisation this behaviour would see you sacked. He knows it has to be done and he needs to start by having a top team thats elected rather than those democratically rejected. If he continues to speak out against Reform they need to sack him.

But if the democratically rejected keeps speaking out against them because they're making decisions with elected MPs rather than rejected ones they need to sack him for speaking out. Any other business would sack you for speaking out against them and damaging company reputation.
