You can make the Supra top tier in Gran Turismo (over 900HP in the first installment with max upgrades) but here, it's pretty limited due to lack of tuning options. It's still top in its class none-the-less though but it isn't competing with the Diablo VT.

Amen, cars from the '90s are BOSS, I still lust after most cars in this game today ! The Celica was a beauty too but after 2000 Toyota equalls, pedestrian slow shit, too bad. And the new "Supra" just makes me wanna cry, a Toyota badged BMW and so damn ugly :(

The General description mentions the Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 (Mitsubishi 3000GT in Europe and Mitsubishi GTO in Japan), a car that doesn't exist in the game at all.

I believe the 320 hp rating was grossly conservative in its estimate, real figures were more like 380 hp.

The hell are you on about? When TNFS came out, the Supra was largely considered an enthusiast's sports car outside of Japan. It wasn't viewed as a "tuner" back then. Furthermore, you have no real point to make, since there's no tuning options available in the game. The Supra's there, but you can't do anything with it other than choose between paintjobs. You just sound like a bitter zoomer who didn't know that Underground wasn't the first game.

@@alexgrfan97therevenge76 Relax, Supra falls under the class of “Tuner” in the sports car category, it doesn’t necessarily mean it has to have tuning options. Just like how a Dodge Challenger is “Muscle” and a Ferrari is “Super”.

I will appreciate Japanese sports and super cars, generally meant to be more economical and user friendly but can still be fun like the Subaru brand or the insane Lexus LFA in modern terms. I'm going through these videos looking over these cars in Forza Horizon 4 which, to me, is what I always wished Need for Speed could be; being able to race OEM super and hyper cars and/or going full tuner with cheap vehicles like a Ford Focus.
