Today I watched the movie “The need to grow”. It was amazing but alarming at the same time. It’s high time that… People should start focusing on - science more than technology - choose positive bliss over pointless entertainment - morality over money

After an hour and a half and then looking at their website I still don't know how the Green Power House works or what it produces at all apart from electricity from burning woodchips, which depending on how you do the math is or is not carbon neutral. They say they put wood chip in and take out charcoal and algae but how is that a closed system. And what is the algae for, in the film its supposed to be for the organic farms as a magic way to increase yields but apart from the charcoal providing the microbe habitat it doesnt tell you what the algae is for unless its used just to capture the carbon dioxide produced by the burning either way and Im no expert, surely, the algae need phosphorous, nitrogen and potassium. Where is that coming from? Are they adding the NPK to the water, is it coming from the flue gases from the wood chip, I can't see that, or are they adding it. if they add it then its not a closed system. The film doesnt tell you anything any sustainability conscious person doesnt know already. Buy organic or grow your own to save the soil. I buy my electricity from solar not wood chip too.

Don't you just LOVE it when messages are presented in the "omg, if everyone doesn't know this information IMMEDIATELY, and act upon it IMMEDIATELY, we're LITERALLY ALL gonna die, but we are going to bottleneck the information, and instead of just making the WORLD_SAVING INFORMATION on how to REPLICATE the process IMMEDIATELY FREELY WIDELY KNOW to, you know, SAVE the entire human race from the MONEY MAKERS, we're just going to sell tickets for people to listen to us talk ABOUT it, but not actually REVEAL the PLANS for how the system works -- because we need money.", format?
