Thelan was an officer on the Enterprise in an episode of "Star Trek: The Animated Series." There is a comedian named Jack Carter (I think he's still living) who was popular in the 1960s and 1970s.

Awesome episode, and I see you've drawn inspiration from the Chimes at Midnight story regarding Thelin's parentage. The "pinkskin" references made me nostalgic for Enterprise all over again. Very nicely done all around. =)

Just as great as the old Fantastic Filmation cartoons who created Archies, Batman, Superman-Aquaman hour, Fantastic Voyage and the Original Star Trek animated series. Great Saturday morning cartoons memories.

This is Michael with NEO f/x....Originally, the script called for Carmen to be working in a simple research facility, but the news last year about the super collider did motivate me to tweak the dialog to make it more relevant.
