One moral leads to another .....none should be judged before one is studied, do acts of kindness and you will be rewarded in myriad ways, di not disregard anyone as unimportant, share your knowledge widely; you never know how many people will benefit from it......etc

There are many morals from this short video. Not just about investments; right from cutting the conversation with the kids (which is lacking with many in the current society) to compassion & empathy, there are many learnings 👍

Absolutely heart touching story & importance of learning investing in early age. Also remind us not to judge the book by its cover. Many Thanks to DSP Team for this short flim.

What a beautiful, thoughtful video. Girls and boys should learn how to handle money from a young age. Most of us don't know how to handle money and this can result in disastrous consequences as adults.

Beautiful video! Teaches so many things. 1. teaches us not to be an ageist -Older women especially face ageism in society. The girl's father is irritated by the attention given by his wife and daughter to the elderly neighbour. It challenges the conventional wisdom of thinking older women only as a motherly figure. She is motherly plus highly accomplished person in her own right. Older people often have life experiences and so much knowledge to share. 2. Teaches us to learn about financial matters and also teach our daughters 3. Also warns us against transactional relationships. Father does not see the elderly lady of any use. Often we only want people in our life based on how they can help us or give something in return (aka transactional relationship) but relationships without any expectations can be so rich too!

This should be in the syllabus at class 8- when children start demanding money! A simple course can be developed to motivate them towards saving! A novel concept! 10 stars!

I loved this video for many reasons. 1- Showing senior citizens in right way. Many a times senior citizens are treated by default as if they are without brains. 2- Shoeing the senior citizen as a Woman was icing on cake...as normally the ads always depict as if Only Men are in such positions. 3- The emotional touch of the father coming to his senses was a well delivered msg in subtle way. 4- The buildup of the story and the sudden surprise at end was too good. Initial buildup gives impression that the Senior woman is a Needy woman and lo behold the end ... simply amazing. Full marks for this film for conceptualisation as well as execution. ❤❤

Slow but sure build up, powerful video. An eye opening film showing how we ignore our own daughters. Daughters need to be given the same attention as sons are. And the same understanding of finance too from a very young age. They need independence too! That is how India will change.

Great messsage and such an eye opener, In a country like India with old school brown parenting daughters are often neglected to be taught anything about finances , like my wife , she had no idea what is basic investing , but after I had a daughter, I knew someone had to break the cycle , will make sure , she learns whatever possible and not be a blank slate to face this world!

I found myself very lucky after seeing the statistics about the literacy about investing for girls, very disheartened. Seriously from my 16 to 17, my father always pushed me to indulge in that stuff, shared details about those things, and the most astonishing part he never do sips or stock market but he always encouraged me to do it so that I could have a proper future planning by my own

Very important lesson. Given that women handle the home finances, it is prudent that they know the fundamentals of finance. I'm sure the marketing department of DSP Funds had ulterior motives to tap into the women's segment, but the intentions are good in the end.
