@@NotoriousMastaG I don't care about aesthetics, I'm talking about the function of it. Magazine in the grip is better balanced, more compact, and more intuitive to aim. Imagine spending nearly $2000 for a base model 9 mm pistol lol That’s what all of these new companies are doing these days. Everyone has gone off the rails with these crazy 9 mm carb beans. It started off as using a compatible system that’s cheaper to use. Something similar to our fighting rifle then it turned into something fun and now it’s just turned into something ridiculous. All the technology we have, and we have found ourselves going back to a tilt barrel action in a carbine
@gregoryfilin8040Ай бұрын
With all due respect, I'm sure you can understand the cost in developing something new. These are new concepts and slight changes. PCC's have been an underdeveloped thing for decades, and them Scorpion Evo 3 came out. And now everyone is doing exactly as you mentioned, finding a middle ground between a fighting rifle and a pistol. I'm not defending the company, I just think your point screams that you're a bit out of touch. A modern fighting rifle is about $3600. A good PCC is $1500. A good pistol is $700. Good modern weapons don't come cheap and never have.
@LowProOperatorАй бұрын
@gregoryfilin8040 and I’m not saying this to offend or be a jerk but where did you get that $3600 price point for a modern fighting rifle?
@LowProOperatorАй бұрын
@gregoryfilin8040 I think companies like this have made people like me. Look out of touch, but I don’t think I am. I’ll explain why. I am still building really cool AR nines today for five and $600 with really good quality parts. I know you’re always gonna spend more for a complete build, but not that much more. $1000 is pushing it but I’d be willing to spend that on a good high-quality sub gun. Thousand dollars is about what I’d be willing to spend on a good high-quality AR 15 as well. I’ve got some really nice AR’s sitting on the shelf right now, even with a one by six or one by eight LVO still only pushing about $1000 total build cost. I agree the PCC world has been very underwhelming over the past few decades. After the MP five a lot of companies just stuck with roller delayed or direct blowback. But to be fair if you can shoot rifles all day I personally think there’s no need to have any other style of operating system for a 9 mm or even 45 ACP type weapon. Direct blowback or roller delayed works great. Even with nice Sigg or vortex scope set ups I don’t have a single rifle on my shelf costing over $1200. I would just like to know personally where you get your figures from. Did you forget about the Palmetto State Armory full-size dagger? It’s a Glock 19 x clone for around $300. One all the time and it has ran flawless and has better build quality than most of my Glocks. I’m not bashing you or calling you out. I’m genuinely curious.
@gregoryfilin8040Ай бұрын
@@LowProOperator That's the price of the rifle, optic, device, and all relevant parts to get into the configuration one would see on the Frontline. If you adjust backwards for inflation, even as far back as the 1800's.
@LowProOperatorАй бұрын
@gregoryfilin8040 so if you were to compare a standard military rifle of today against any rifle in my arsenal, I would dare say that anyone of my AR 15’s are a3 of the price and twice as reliable. I want to say it’s the army that uses the new Sigg using 277 fury. Now that’s a completely new design from the ground up. It is a very expensive weapon system. But the rest of the military still uses an M4 obaded weapon system.. The system itself is a great system. There’s no doubt about it. But the ones they have are so used and abused. They have been found to be unreliable. Like most militaries in the world. Anyways, I don’t want to get off on a tangent the point is those M4 or M16 variants cost the military thousands of dollars a piece for a base model carbine set up that just needs to be able to hit something. I don’t know if you were in the military or have been in the military, but most of it is logistics. The cost a military pays is an actually because of what the rifle is worth. It’s because the military is funded by taxpayers and there is a huge abundance of money in the system. There’s plenty of companies out here making $1 million on weapons that they should be making a couple hundred thousand on. I’ve done quite a few bills on my channel and I am going to start doing some build breakdowns on some of my heavily abused weapon systems. One of my favorite rifles cost me around $450 and it is mint.
