The Nerf Longshot : Time to mod the legendary blaster!

MongooseJake Don’t worry man, i’ll get to it. When I get the cash and time that is...all my hobbies make my wallet bleed... Not gonna lie, I don’t know what ti do with my future Longshot, maybe a pump action kit ?

I went with the big hammer internal kit on my longshot. Luckily Monkee Mods sent me the pump kit too or I would never be able to prime thr 14kg spring properly lol. I love the ZS version but I was able to snag the OG Midnight Blue LS for super cheap so that is what I got. Unfortunately someone prior tried to mod it and didn't know what they were doing so I had to really clean out some grease and other stuff from inside. I'd use it more except for the fact it is so large and I usually just carry a backpack with me to wars. I can fit a few blasters in my backpack with the stocks off and jump into someones car, an Uber or a bus easily (too broke for a vehicle 😆). I am still working out the brass breach on the LS. Need a few more items and it will be complete. Cant wait to see the performance on yours with rhe drop in OMW kit.

I'm hoping that the extra parts from Worker boost the OMW kit's performance. Eventually I'll buy more parts for this, and it'll be a ongoing upgrade. I eventually want to get absolutely as much performance from a full length breach as possible (to retain the ability to fire Buzz Bee Precise Pro's). A aftermarket stock, pump grip, metal plunger tube, etc are all planned for the future.

I think you will enjoy this mod job. It looks like it will be pretty cool. That should get you good, but not crazy performance. You might eventually look into a pump grip, too.

My suggestion is one from Gavin Fuzzy. It isn't the cheapest, but it is great quality, you don't have to cut the shell, and you can add picatinny rails.

I have a Gavinfuzzy pump kit on my Recon Mk2. It is damn nice quality. I didnt get the picatinny rails on it though because the Recon has a side picatinny and I added one to the top for reflex sights. My LS has the Worker pump kit (sounds like pumpkin) and it isnt as nice. I got it free from Monkee Mods so I'm not complaining any lol

For now, good performance is all I'm looking for. My modded Interceptor (125-140 fps) and Retaliator (120-125 fps) already dominate, so I don't truly need a 200+ blaster right now. This should get the blaster up to high performance for the local stuff I do, but I definently plan to do more in the future. Aftermarket stock, pump grip, metal plunger tube, and other stuff is all planned for the future, and I'll keep updates here on the channel.

No plans to brass it. Where I am I have no need for brassed breach level performance, and to top it off my preferred darts (Buzz Bee Precise Pro's) don't work in brass breaches... This will be top level performance for my area as is.
